Don't do the random calculated color thing, as coloring should be done as a last step to compliment the style of the sections already there.

I concur, imagen if you built a ship with spikes and blades on it and got pink as the colour. Not a good look.

I went out of town for awhile. The IT 03 has arrived.
Total time to complete (after section picking from the random number generated list): 3 hours

People said "don't use random colors". Oh well, did it anyway, using the same system for color shading and doodads that I always have.

Yes, they are 10% the original size.
Seen here compared to a HLB Cerberus hovering over the desert landscape.
I have successfully made something more adorable than the previous entry.

I like the HG hover tank a lot, however I'm afraid I'm less than excited with the other two.

The HLB ship looks like a block with blinkers on and the IT looks more like a fancy bit of space debris than anything functional. Sorry Zal, these just don't do it for me :p

Not a problem. As for the other two, a word of warning. Don't build ships at three in the morning.

It feels like it's been awhile since I last used the shipmaker for my factions. However, I don't have time to finish this ship right now. Since it's on a laptop, I have to upload it and get it from here to continue work on my computer back home after I get back from the hospital.

Zalausai Edit: There's a tree outside the window. It's mocking me. Therefore it has affected the color scheme. Tree-like colors with water-blue doodads. The lines flow upward.
I personally like the way the exhaust looks when it is moving.

HLB Lore ship

HLB "Reaper" MagHeli

Seems underpowered in tests.

A special unit for the HLB. The blades do not allow it to fly. It gains flight through the use of powerful magnetic fields generated by onboard components. By matching the polarity of a planet's natural magnetic field, it lifts itself by magnetic repulsion. The "blades" are actually tungsten lined weapons. Using electric induction, they are superheated hot enough to cut through most hulls. (This is the "Buzzsaw trick")

Those blades don't look like they'll be all that effective when they don't stick out much over the hull.

About the helicopter, they don't extend. They just turn to a bright color. They only really damage a target that shares a space with it.


Mega Project is nearly complete. Just needs weapons, stats, and carrier sprites.
