If I am not mistaken, you are just using the same basic ship, modifying/adding to it, then saving it as a new ship.

Its not the same ship its the same core the core I'm used at all ships:

Why not give one a middle section so it is shaped like a trident. They are very similar to each other.
The cores are growing. Each one has all the section of the previous one with two or so added to it. Try making it a little bigger.
