Damn, I usually don't post if I don't like something, but this is a real step down from your old stuff (the ones before Erectus, although those were also better then this).
The little ship isn't bad, a bit cluttered in places, but the lobster ship is quite awful. It looks extremely cluttered due to bad use of the mech sprites and lines going every which way, and its shape is rather unappealing. The worst of this is in the wings, which are quite awful. This is compounded by the fact that much of the shading is generally so slight as to be unnoticeable, or else in large chunks, which makes it look bland.
There a few aspects I like, mainly the wing struts, but the rest of it is either bland and generic looking (body) or simply unpleasant (wings).
Sorry for being unusually harsh, but I find the ship quite awfu, particularly compared to some of your other stuff. You can do and have done much better.

Edit: Reworded a few things, added a bit.

Of course, I'm doing more on the little ship, anyone got suggestions?

"Perfection not when there is nothing left to add, but when there is nothing left to take away"(Forgot who said it...damn..memory leaks)
The small dude looks nice. Just add some nice moving light effects and add just a little bit more depth.

If you're going to nab a quote I posted a couple of days ago you could at least do it right;

"A designer knows he has achieved perfection not when there is nothing left to add, but when there is nothing left to take away" - Antoine de Saint-Exupery

The little one is better hands down, as I said in IRC the big one bugs me... the angle of the connectors, the larger pylons on the outside...

The little ship isn't bad, my only complaint is that the section on the front of the wing struts looks a bit weird, not crisp enough compared to the rest of the ship, and the rear (mainly the thrusters) doesn't completely fit with the rest of the ship.
Other then that, it's fine, nothing groundbreaking, but quite alright.

Don't be afraid of perfection-it isn't a threat to you... Salvador Dalí

And I didn't nab it. I simply tried to translate it from Russian. So I got dumb mistakes.

The small one very good, definitely improved from the previous iteration, even the weapons match. Although those stock sections on the front bother me, i don't think they match the somewhat curvy lines of the main body.

The big one... yeah, its cluttered alright, but despite that, i somehow like it. Perhaps adding a lot more depthing and contrast would help?

You know Melvin, i have to say that ever since the 'RUC Main Battle Fleet' thread, you keep surprising me with very good ships. Keep doing that.

Nice, I like it, and, more importantly, I can no longer think of anything that I really need to complain about. My only recommendation is that you put a bit more orange in the wings, unless you want them to stand out from the body by having little orange.

AAAAH! LOBSTER AAAANNGGH! BY DOSE! ID CAUGD BY DOSE! SOBBODY GED DE BEDICS!

Jokes aside, yes, the big collosal ship looks like an awesome lobster. But if the smaller one and the big one was to be as a fleet (pardon my critics), i don't see how dem fits.

And orange is awesome.

Do like. The front hass really nice section use, and the wings look better now. One thing I miss are the blinkers on the antennae. Also, the thrusters look kind of small to me, add more or make them larger. <--This might just be my love of ridiculous thruster flares.
After that, move on to a new ship (or you can of course make it even bigger and better).
