Not sure i understand exactly what your trying to do, but a good way to get explosions without dealing with fuse weapons is to take the autocannon and set the shrapnal to an explosion sprite with 180 devation and a short lifetime. Great for bombers.

I found a thread that fixes the problem with 3rd party sprites.
Now Im trying to look for it, but I can't find it.
My question is how can I fix the "problem" with the sprites?
(The one that makes brownish-lines at the sprite)

how would one go about saving a palette in shipmaker? everytime I custom color my ship, the palette goes back to boring old green when I start it again.
also, can somebody point me to a thread how to assign a trigger (comma) to make a weapon constantly fire? (the other trigger just shows how to make recoil and a bow-like thing)
