Archives for ships and fleets. 'nuff said. Most of the ships here are very very old and will not work in current versions of BSF or SM. You have been warned!

Whaaaaaaaaaat.
Go and read the manual, the documentation, and look at other people's ships. Then come back and show us a real ship. Apolgies for being so blunt, but these are AWFUL.
Not enough Delta in your life? Have a look at https://twitter.com/Deltabacon1 - I do a fair amount of casting and esports analysis which may appeal to some of you who are that way inclined!
I already had the game for about a year before creating an account for the forum, 3 days ago. For Shipmaker I thought I knew everything I needed to know.

Imperator Pavel I : We KNOW ship know our ship types, who do you think we are?
Now read the manual and come back when you finally make some REAL ships.
Also, don't change the subject of your talking when we try to help you, your last comment did not make ANY sense at all.
Just wondering, Because the Imperial Japanese Navy actually had a battlecruiser called Akagi, but they needed more Fleet Carriers, so Akagi was converted into a carrier.

WTF can you explain that sentence?
Imerator's in the habit of editing his posts when people reply to them - he posted a list of WW2 ship designations completely randomly, in a way that sounded like he was having a conversation with someone else - either wrong-forum fail, or he's got no idea what's going on, heh :p
It was the post above me saying
Wait - what's that got to do with anything?!
- see how editing your posts makes everything confusing?
And still no one is being all that helpful... You guys need to start setting a better example to avoid this because it happens way too often with the same people instigating, just my opinion. You can complain all you want about people being stupid and what they should have done but they hardly every do, so why not save the two or three pages of flaming nonsense and just tell the lad what he wants to know.
Dude, parenting doesn't go straight to the core. If I shoot off your arm, should your hand still function? Each section should be parented to the next closer one to the core, and no more than three or so usually are parented directly to it, unless its a complex station or something.
Even if you don't read the manual, even briefly looking at the forum posts should teach you alot since people ask this stuff everyday. And don't feel too bad, I still discover features or hotkeys I didn't know about.
The herman is still no good, but you've corrected a few mistakes you were making. Try fixing it up a bit after looking around, then make a new ship. You are improving, even if its incrementally.
Actually jwa there were quite a few posts telling him the basics - like looking at some other examples n all that jazz - I made a couple of them. However, when after repeatedly being told to have a look at what constitutes 'good', to draw on the community's years of visualised knowledge, he does not, and then reveals that he won't even look at the basic controls to find out how to rotate a weapon, people kinda get frustrated.
There's only so many times you can tell a guy that his colour schemes suck and that he should look around for inspiration, and then getting ignored that we can take...
