ATHENA BATTLESHIP

I went from the idea that BSF graphics are actually a tactical readout seen by the commander - if the ships are simplified representations of the actual vessels, this is what an Athena should look like!

I hope you like it. It's a pencil sketch mirrored and edited in Photoshop CS3, and then colored.

Before you ask, yes, I will do other ships in the same style later on.

I'm on Deviantart, these drawings are going up on my profile: http://cycerin.deviantart.com/

I know it's been said over and over, but hot damn that's a nice rendition! Looking forward to the others. :o

Wow, that's fantastic. I just love how you did the aegis. And the core. And the weapons and sections. Well, I love everything really.

I didn't realize it before, but the Athena's section 1's at the back have an impossible layering. Look at the way it is layered to both of the sections and you will see that the all over and underlap each other.
Alls Requiem, my current project, with many more to come. Feel free to critique my site as much as you please.

The Athena isn't a completely 2D structure. The sections that seem to overlap impossibly are just tilted in the Z-plane, and are also wing-thin.

Amazing. Very, very well done. I love what you did with all the extra details. I'd like to see your interpretation of the Cronus.
