Only 24 sections? No R/E template strings?
With the new shipbuilder (V4), it seems that the stock sections past 24 are missing. is this a bug of some kind, or am i missing something?

Unfortunately, the mass of new features and settings made R and E nonfunctional at best, and incredibly buggy at worst. Sorry.AnnihilatorX wrote:Might as well ask a question about the new builder here.
Is the template copy and paste function removed? (E and R keys in the older v3)
I thought I could use this to quickly convert my ships from v3 to v4 :/

On the subject of hot keys, what ever happened to 'I' and 'K', the stretchy buttons?
Edit: fixed, I pressed some weird never-seen-before button that screwed up my keyboard (I was wondering why I couldn't copy anything)
(no, don't say sticky keys, otherwise it would show on the task bar)

Are there alternatives for the following scenario if that's the case? Say if you have placed some weapons then you change the stat of a single one and want to apply that change to all others. In the past I'd use template copy. What alternative is the most efficient in the above scenario? Ctrl+C only clones the weapon and you have to manually position the cloned weapons and delete the old ones so I don't think this is efficient.Arcalane wrote:Unfortunately, the mass of new features and settings made R and E nonfunctional at best, and incredibly buggy at worst. I know how to use "~" to get the section groups. my problem is trying to get to all the extra parts that don't show up in shipmaker in the custom sprites section (like that radar dish piece). Is drag-and-drop the only method to get those in?

Loading ships from V3 to V4
It seems that I can't load ships made with version 3 on to version 4? it just comes up with an error?
as follows
ERROR in
action number 1
of Draw Event
for object obj_section:
Trying to draw non-existing sprite.

Part of being sane, is being a little bit crazy.

Re: Loading ships from V3 to V4
Version 0.90 doesn't come with .sb3 support, so all your old ships have been rendered near-obsolete.DoomBringer wrote:It seems that I can't load ships made with version 3 on to version 4? it just comes up with an error?
