Chase after the lights; not much to loose. Maybe you can even try out your new battle arm in combat
EDIT: bringing your brother is a good idea. more firepower never hurt anyone. (besides who you're shooting at  )

follow the yellow brick... *ahem* lights. Follow the lights.
What's the worst that could happen?
besides this, of course...

Hey Reesa, I'm sorry I wasn't here earlier to give any advice earlier, but I was busy with stuff ... and things.
Those lights are obviously the physical manifestations of a hyper-evolved race that along ago went post-sentient. You should follow them and try to communicate with them. Perhaps they know why you have been transported to this place and maybe even how to get you back. Or perhaps they are so highly-evolved and elitist that they wouldn't even notice something as lowly as a human being. Either way, it wouldn't do much harm, and like the other voice just said, maybe you'll get to use your shiny new arm for something.
I don't think it matters whether you bring you brother with you into the forest. I doubt he'll be of any help if the post-sentients turn out to be aggressive.

The fact that thise lights are going to the unknown woods is allready bad enough, why the hell would you even think about following them? don't you remember the old fairy tales what happened to the kids following lights like thise? Curiosity killed the cat you know..
But if you realy feel like you want to know, atleast take someone with you, no fun to die alone.
