A known problem that has not been remedied. Stick to v.088 for now.

you can't. You just need to uninstall the new one and re-install the old.

Someone saved a backup zip that is available for download.

It's still on the site, you just need to do some fiddling with page addresses (I edited the link to 0.89 to get this):

Version 0.87 is also attainable in this fashion.
