Suggestion: Make the edges on the sides round. Square edges makes it look like a carved brick.

I highly suggest you consider starting a new ship design scheme, and making your ships considerably smaller will help loads.

Thanks, I'll release the SB3 so that people can recolor it, My color sence is not in any form good. I hope that another can do better so that I could copy the scheme.

Oh just stop making excuses. I for one have never seen another shipbuilder with such an 'interesting' build style as you, especially with regard to WIPs.

Here's what you did wrong: you showed the hull with just the wing spars before fleshing them out at all whatsoever. Result: Nobody paid much any attention to the newly-completed hull which, while the colors blow ass, the shapes actually seem to have improved.

Here's what I would have done: I'd have taken that screenshot immediately before building the wings and called it the main hull. ONLY THEN would I have commenced laying the wing spars and pods. After that I'd simply not release a WIP shot of the naked wing spars, but wait until the wing shape is essentially DONE. As for the colors, I'd vary the shading a bit darker and darker red as I worked my way out, possibly going to a nice steel blue-gray around things like weapon mounts and other hardware. I'd have also made the core hull blue-gray to match instead of BRIGHT FUCKING BLUE like my balls after a five-day Road Trip!

Here's what you did right: you're starting to figure out what sections fit well together and in okay configurations. In fact, I'm impressed enough with this turkey I've half a notion to shiprape it when you post the SB3 because I see some actual PROMISE in that hull. Don't expect any damn wings with the sidecandy, however.

Well, after a LONG period of rebuilding it, the Amaterasu is getting yet another hull.

Things I've deleted:

The orriginal wing spars
ALL of the lower internals

the reactors will be deleted
Redoing the firepower
Reworking the colour

Those wings are going to die unless you've enough health on them.

They are also very repetitive.I've found alternating between 2's and 3's with 4's as fillers works very well.

Yeah 2-3-4 sounds stupidly unimaginative.But it works,and is easy to work with.

Engine glow isn't distinctive enough,not many will notice or pay attention enough.

I think you should scrap this entirely and work on smaller ships.

Honestly, its a big brick. Just put this on hold and work on other things. Come back when you're a bit more experienced.
