Thunderhost - Civil war - Border fight

Post by MDmakaan »

Year 2633, the border of Meposka, a planet near a giant asteroid belt. Unrest is a common problem for over 4 years between the Undaz federation and the Coalition.
However, civillians are under assault by Federation forces and you, captain of a Coalition Welder class cruiser, is the only person of helping these poor people.

You go near a small asteroid belt, near the distress calls.

And there it is, a Booter class assault destroyer which deployed platforms.

You notice on long range scanners that more ships, including a large one are incoming and you are requesting help.

A friendly booter class destroyer is near your sector, and Coalition HQ is going to send you a Diamond class battleship.

You say "I'm a starship captain! not a fleet commander!" and let the slaughter begin!

Information about the battlefield.
The Booter class destroyers are capable of overloading their engines to fire a burst of plasma.

Booter class destroyers are armed with advanced point defense weapons,
which can intercept railguns and blasters, but not too much of them at once.

At the second wave it would be wise to retreat to your platforms, and surround the incoming ships, use the asteroids.

The diamond class battleship is both a broadside and front attacking battleship, but on broadside you have more blue blaster cannons in range.

This encounter is only tested on a high-end computer

problems & bugs :
Bridge colors of ships are set to default colors, but with the default BSF colors it shouldn't become that ugly.

somehow, the enemy booter class destroyer`s point defenses are default particle cannons, wile i used the same files wile making it.

Some people complain about ships not going forward anymore after a big hit. this has never happened to me, honestly, so i recommend downloading de newest BSF to try to fix this.

Last wave lags a lot, and may cause a freeze, but don't worry, it will stop when all ships have arrived.

Actually, unless he misspelt the first word, "class", "assault" and "destroyer" are all correct, dumbass.

At this point you could be considered to be starting the dragging-out process.
