Ahh... It works now. Thank you. I do not realize that there is a new version of ShipMaker.

Custom HP on weapons DOES NOT work. It simply reverts to the default HP for me.
Edit: Now battleships forever freezes when I try to run it >.<

Just a quick question before I install;
Are old ship blueprints still compatible, will they break compatiblity in shipmaker 3.0 and can I directly copy and paste my current ships over or will I have to resave them all?

Shipmaker blueprints (.sbp, .sb2) are only compatible over the same major version. Shipmaker 1.x files won't work with Shipmaker 2.x. The latest shipmaker released is 2.9 err c I think. I'm working on 3.0.

Ship files themselves (.shp) will always work on the latest version of the game.

So provided I install newer versions to a new directory, I can edit older blueprints with older shipmaker versions and then use the .shp files with the new version(s)?

Are you trying to say that I've just finish designing the huge monstrosity of a Sapphire dreadnought that took me almost three hours to do, only to have it... ax'd?

The long straight one? Maybe just the minimalist triangle one? Do I really want to send the minimalistic message? Maybe I should take a serrated edition? But then again, that might be messy. I kind of like that long thin one, but it might be unwieldy. Aww, hell, I dunno what to do.
Help me make a choice, guys!

Putting up v0.81c now. It should fix all of those annoying bugs.

And it seems to me the HUD zooming problem I mentioned is still there. Doesn't affect gameplay any, just weirds me out. :lol:

I've just three questions for TH15..

1. What are the chances of SM3.0 NOT breaking compatibility, or atleast retaining some transitional options in whatever limited manner?

2. Will this be the last time(as far as you can see) that you release a version that breaks compatibility?

3. Will we get even more parts?
