Archives for ships and fleets. 'nuff said. Most of the ships here are very very old and will not work in current versions of BSF or SM. You have been warned!

OH wow, I like the Frigates and the Destroy designs a lot! Very neat stuff.

The larger ships i do not quite like as much, there is just something there that is not right.

Ill comment on the Archangel though. The struts that connect the outer pods seem rather weak and could do with some additional strengthening.

Yeah the struts are kinda thin but it accentuates the Archangel's relative fragility (as opposed to the lolbrick Renault which can absorb lots and lots of damage).

A smaller battlestation and defense platform added.

That Gomorrah station is just pure awesome. It also reminds me that I need to go back and remodel some of the Legion ships.

Though I'll have to Darkship that the huge ships doesn't seem to work as well, though the small-medium ships are definitely good.

A small warpgate used by the Thrusallanians, which is able to transport ships as large as destroyers. Has a lengthy startup and cooldown sequence.

Seconded. But I have to ask, is the 23 on the lower-right supposed to be on the bottom when all the others are on top?
"Okay. I'm gonna get your money for ya. But if you don't get the President of the United States on that phone, you know what's gonna happen to you?"
"What?!"

Ehh... I think the old beamer-based gates were more visually appealing. Plus you could do some fun startup/shutdown stuff using bursts. ;)

Hmm, is the bottom right warp gate arm meant to have different layering? :?

Epic fleet anyway.

The mirroring errors have since been fixed (stupid, yet so wonderful group clone).

The beamer-based gates are pretty laggy, aren't they? This one can run nearly 30 FPS if its the only thing around. The real problem with pulsars is that unlike beams they can't be invisible so there will have to be a thin grey line in the middle (which you can't see in the pic, of course, it would only be there when the gate is off).

I like the warp gate...I got an effect similar to this that moves with the ship, but it wasn't nearly as pretty. Perhaps you could build an infrastructure across (dreamcatcherish I suppose) which would also cover the pulsar? Maybe too ugly though...
