I don't know if you've seen the old ancient Nexus Fleet, but, yeah, sometimes when none of your friends are on ANY of the Multiplayer games you play you tend to get bored and stuff. And you do things. (In b4 dirty thought >=( )

Entire Redesigned Nexus Fleet(Done so far, Might actually bother to do the Ultraheavy Dreadnought), with the Constantinople-Class Heavy Cruiser, Nicea-Class Destroyer, Nicosia-Class Escort Destroyer and the Nicomedia-Class Frigate.

BDA-BRe.1 Rome-Class Battleship, NAFC-1773 No Second Chances

The Rome-Class is a Nexus Battleship design. It is the first ever Nexus Battleship, and due to the small size of the Alliance itself only a few battleships have been produced. The No Second Chances is one of them. Bristling with all the latest Nexus weapons and equipped with excessive shielding and armor and Captained by Commodore Neil Drake, the No Second Chances has, along with her sister ship Caesar, Captained by Admiral Arthur Grant, thwarted many attacks on the Nexus Alliance as part of the 2nd Guardian Battlegroup.

FDA-BRe.2 Ravenna-Class Dreadnought, NAFC-1224 No More Mister Nice Guy

The Ravenna-Class is another Battleship design by the Nexus Alliance. It is armed with mostly big guns and a forest of point-defences, carrying seven Gungnir Energy Storm Systems and two Scion Beams. It can destroy other battleships easily and larger space stations, and can easily devastate a fleet of small craft. However, due to its' high cost, only two have been produced. The No More Mister Nice Guy, commanded by Commodore Sorel Norvash is one of them. It serves as the Battlegroup Command ship for the 11th Assault Battlegroup, and has served as the Fleet Command Vessel for two engagements, once at Syrtis Minor and another at the Tartarus Asteroid Belt

ORP-FRe.4 Cyprus-Class Raiding and Patrol Frigate

The Cyprus is an extremely fast Nexus Frigate. Armed with a single Plasma Beam, it is not meant for direct combat, but is instead used as a police patrol or pirate hunter craft. Military uses for it include raiding enemy supply lines or attacking support ships at the flank, but almost never for direct combat. The only recorded successful use of a Cyprus-Class ship in direct combat was by Admiral Atrum Persavor, then a Captain, who successfully defeated a pair of cruisers with a trio of Cyprus-Class ships and missile fire support from the Point Of No Return, using the speed of the Cyprus-Class to his advantage.

FDA-DRe.2 Nicea-Class Destroyer

Powerful destroyer armed with Railcannons, Missiles and a Quad Array of Particle Beams, as well as Pulse Guns. Carries moderate shielding and is difficult to defeat without swamping it with large volumes of fire. (Particle Beams will tend to destroy powerful projectiles before impact, save railguns.)

ORP-FRe.1 Nicomedia-Class Frigate

This small frigate carries mainly Plasma Beams as its' primary weapons. A single Railcannon and a Plasmacloud Blaster make it good for frigate-to-frigate combat and hunting larger ships in groups.

BDA-HCRe.4 Constantinople-Class Heavy Cruiser

This powerful vessel mounts experimental High-Power Energy Cannons that phase through armor and can directly damage internal enemy systems, making it a deadly threat to slower-enemy vessels. It also mounts conventional missile launchers, railguns and beam cannons to destroy other enemies.

ODE-DRe.1 Nicosia-Class Escort Destroyer

The Nicosia-Class is studded with Anti-Fighter Plasma Beams, rapid-firing plasma cannons that blasts short-lived beams of plasma at an incredible rate. As a result, the vessel has been named the "Dazzler" by Nexus AI Controllers and the AIs themselves, and most of them refuse to send out their fighter and bomber drones when a Nicosia-Class is in combat. The Nicosia-Class also sports two Rail Cannons to defeat other ships, but cannot effectively destroy enemy destroyers.

BFS-CRe.4 Naples-Class Light Carrier

The Naples-Class floods enemy vessels with drones and can serve as a carrier base for four wings of fighters, bombers or gunships. It carries Plasmabeam Cannons to support allied fighters at close range.

FFS-DRe.2 Antioch-Class Missile Destroyer

The Antioch-Class Missile Destroyer is an excellent support ship, staying behind battle lines and swamping enemy vessels with missiles. The long-ranged missiles pierce through armor and home in on enemy vessels. Deadly close-range Assault Missile Launchers defeat fighters attempting to bomb nearby ships. An unguided cluster rocket pack allows it to pound slower-moving vessels from long range.

BDA-CRe.3 Athens-Class Cruiser

The Athens-Class is a old Nexus design and a solid combat vessel. It can unleash punishing railgun barrages and missiles, and carries beam cannons to defeat fighters and other vessels. It is incredibly versatile, but does not carry newer Nexus technologies like plasma beams, but has been updated with Phase-Shift shields.

BDA-CRe.1 Sparta-Class Cruiser

The Sparta-Class has the same frame as the Athens-Class, but is updated with the latest plasma and energy weapons availible to the Nexus. Advanced power distribution networks allow fully-fledged railguns to be mounted on the broadside pods, and this all comes at the expense of maneuverability.

OFS-DRe.2 Adrianople-Class Electronic Warfare Destroyer

The Adrianople-Class is an effective electronic destroyer; it can hack drones and cause them to self-destruct, and launch jamming drones that look like real projectiles to point-defences, causing them to waste their shots. It also carries a fleet-level projectile deflector shield, collapsing only to extreme firepower. However, beams will bypass the shield.

OFS-SRe.1 Invictus-Class Battlestation, Point Of No Return

The Invictus-Class Battlestation is a medium-sized station bristling with missile launchers and energy cannons, while bearing a single Gungnir System. It can destroy Cruisers and serve as vital fleet fire support stations, but cannot defeat Battleships. They use Pulse Shields to protect themselves from fire and deal slight damage to enemies caught in the wave, and can repair allied vessels with nanorepair suites. The Point Of No Return is stationed at Syrtis Major, a planet bordering Earth Confederacy Territory, and is defended by the 2nd Guardian Fleet.

UALS-DRe.1 Heliopolis-Class Landing Ship, Destroyer

The Heliopolis-Class is a landing vessel armed with light anti-fighter weapons and some point defence. It's real use is to land troops and prefabricated bases for said troops, as well as produce robotic armies on-site. Thus, it is capable of operating in an atmosphere, and carries drop-pods for shock-insertion of troops.

Standard Nexus AI-Controlled Gunship, armed with dual Plasma Shell Cannons and a single Light Railcannon to target enemy weakpoints and to damage armor.

Location: MIDDLE

Standard Nexus AI-Controlled Bomber. Easily fabricated and replaced and armed with a single Antifighter Plasma Beam to fend off hostile fighters. Carries a powerful payload of Photon Bombs to devastate hostile craft. Deadly in swarms to even larger vessels.

FDA-FRe.3 Nexus Fighter
Location: BOTTOM

Standard Nexus AI-Controlled Bomber. Carries dual Anti-Fighter beams and a payload of missiles to destroy hostile bombers and fighters. Can be used to attack hostile vessels in a pinch, but not as effective as bombers are.

-Railcannon(All Variants)-

Basic weapon that uses magnetic rails to hurl plasma-coated molten slag at enemies. Excellent for penetrating armor.

-Plasma Beam(All Variants)-

A subsitute to the Beam Cannon, which can be defeated by reflective coating, the Plasma Beam blasts out high-energy plasma contained by a magnetic field. This causes rapid thermal buildup on the target and melts down armor and causes organic tissue to rapidly expand, killing crew. This weapon is particularly effective against piloted small craft as it can kill the pilot and render the craft worthless.

-High-Power Energy Cannon-

A remodification of an old Nexus Design, the Energy Cannon has been given new life. Improved containment technology allows the bolts to actually phase through armor and damage internals, allowing this weapon to deal tons of damage to slow-moving, large craft. However, it is ineffective against smaller vessels who can dodge the bolts.

-Missile Launcher(All Variants)-

Standard missile launcher with explosive payload and homing technology. Usually launches missiles in swarms to catch enemy Point-Defence and deal incredible damage. Assault versions are deadly to fighter.

-Beam Cannon(All Variants)-

Recently supplanted by the plasma cannon, the Beam Cannon is a weapon that fires a lasting beam of energy. Defeated by reflective coating, the Beam Cannon can still melt through armor and irradiate crew, killing them.

-NH Drive-

Despite being developed later than the EC HV Drive, the NH drive is one of the most important Nexus inventions. It allowed Nexus Ships to move past light speeds by punching a hole into another dimension wherein the laws of physics aren't fully realized yet. This allows Nexus vessels to go beyond the speed of light as the law of conservation of energy does not exist in said dimension, thus the name "Neutron's Hell". Therefore, energy can be created and in this case, kinetic energy. Because every movement can cause crew and parts to shoot around the ship, the vessel creates a Reality Zone with the same NH drive that makes the ship act like one giant molecule, thus keeping the crew safe from the effects of the dimension.

-Phase-Shift Shields-

The Phase-Shift shield improves Nexus vessel survivability by making a segment of ship partially anchored in Newton's Hell. This causes shots impacting the armor to phase into Newton's Hell, where they gain more energy until said energy is turned into matter and the round comes to a grinding halt and disintergrates.

Hmm, they have a very nice look to them. Sort of very advanced human, and the blockines gives them a prefabricated/manufactured/modular look. Very straightforward in their looks and roles, and as well, they don't seem to stray into an alien feel.

I don't like the BDA-HCRe.4 Constantinople-Class Heavy Cruiser, the piece layout and layering is kinda ugly.
The rest are sweet.

Interesting designs on them. Color scheme isn't too harsh on the eyes...
and it looks good to me.

I like those weapon mounts... You could work on the engines a bit though. Put a small section underneath each green engine exhaust port and give it a green glow.

LOG: ARW 401, 27th July. 15:00 hours.

Disturbing news. The Cyprus-Class Vessel, Venturer, was performing a forward reconissance run ahead of our battlegroup on a routine patrol. It encounted an unknown ship with 3 fighter escorts, which will be henceforth known as Bogey-1. It also encountered a small enemy battlegroup.

The Venturer then attempted to scan Bogey-1, but decided instead to leave combat range as it detected multiple weapons powerups. The enemy vessels attacked and Bogey-1 fought back with beam weapons of incredible power. Intel estimates them to have the power of at least a Scion Beam.

Venturer then managed to sneak up on Bogey-1 and scan it, although Bogey-1's shields managed to prevent most of the scanning, Venturer did manage to obtain data about the vessel's jump drive. It is at least five times as efficient as ours and can even be used tactically. Disturbing.

The Venturer left the system as Bogey-1 annihilated the enemy forces.
