Put me down as another person for AC4A, or Armored Core for Answer. I love AC4, and this one looks even better.
Also, the Force Unleashed, and Fallout 3 look interesting, although I am deeply troubled by what I've seen of the latter. Diablo 3 also.
And maybe Spore. Maybe.

Spore is a must-have this year.

Bah, what they've done with it looks like crap compared to the early demonstrations of the game, a few years ago. They made everything look more exaggerated and cartoony, they removed the water-phase, and basically just made it vastly inferior to how it originally looked.Commodore111 wrote:Spore rocks.
That said, I'm still somewhat interested in it.

Spore, definitely, despite what EA's done to it.
I don't think there's much else I want, as I don't like much in the way of war games. Although AC4A looks pretty sweet.
BTW, for those of you with Xboxes, Fred recommends Braid.

Duke Nukem Forever
No really, I want to see how badly it'll fail. Admit it you do too:-p
Demigod, Supreme Commander Expansion, Fallout 3, Starcraft 2... Red Faction seems good. I remember the first one. I mean, if they have real time gemomod/realistic destruction and have good gameplay to boot. Well that gives even Valve a run for its money.

Don’t worry it has airbags.
Theres another one that i just thought of just now.
Coded Arms Assault
It was announced about 1 or 2 years ago or something for the PS3 but other than the a couple of trailers that were released back then I haven't really heard anything about it.
I was looking forward to it back then and I still am now. At the time it looked great and the game concept of a fps in a virtual like world was pretty cool.
Does any body know if it was canceled or something or if its still in development?
Also it would be cool to see a new Lost odyssey game or Elder Scrolls game as well. FF13 looks amazing as well.

Games I want, in no particular order:
Fallout 3
Spore
Starcraft 2
Diablo 3
Borderlands
Mercenaries 2: World in Flames
Project Origin
Deus Ex 3
Half-life 2 - Episode 3
C&C: Red Alert 3
Bioshock 2
Fable 2 (but ONLY if a PC version is released)
...meh.
EDIT: (How the hell did I forget these?!)
Dawn of War 2
Sacred 2
Crysis Warhead
Far Cry 2
STALKER: Clear Sky
Descent 4 (yay, Interplay is back! I hope that they continue the Freespace series...)
The Elder Scrolls V
Fallout 3
Spore
Starcraft 2
Diablo 3
Borderlands
Mercenaries 2: World in Flames
Project Origin
Deus Ex 3

Re: Upcoming Games - DO WANT
Still not convinced. Has a few good ideas (actually, just two), but other than that, nothing new or original, ive already seen the 'awesome things' they talk about in other games. don't see the potential you're talking about.Arcalane wrote:Not convinced? Watch the video here.
And like RF:G, don't see whats the big deal.Arcalane wrote:Like RF:G, Mercs 2 has a lot of potential, and it'll have to work hard to be a good sequel. Mercs is due out later this month/early next month (depending on location) for those interested.
If its Wow in space, why is it imprinted in your mind?Normandy wrote:Starcraft: Ghost Recon. WoW in space.
My own thoughts:
AC4A... would wait for that one if i could afford (and justify) PS3. That, and flOwer.
Starcraft 2 - Not really waiting for that one (SC with WoW graphics/style? No thanks...), merely interested how itll turn out.
Diablo 3 - Yes, providing that theyll make graphics dark and grungy, not like on the first D3 screens (again, WoW)
Halo and its spawns - Always thought Halo was an overhyped piece of fast food. Although Halo Wars might be interesting, providing that it won't be yet another clone of something-or-other with halo style.
Fallout 3 - It won't be a true Fallout for sure, which makes me sad. But it still might be a decent game (had fun with Oblivion+mods), and im always happy to play postapocalyptic games, especially with good graphics.
Mirrors Edge - If only for its style and the fact that you can run on roofs. The city running part of Assassins Creed was excellent.
Demigod - Mainly for its style and basic premise, since not much else is know (at least to me)
Huxley - Sounds interesting.
Fez by Kokoromi - Hell yeah. Support independent games!
MS Train Simulator 2 - Err, yeah...
Cities XL - Simcity in realistic, hi-def 3d.
And, of course, Spore. I do have similar thoughts to Seraph, but im still immensely interested. And im hoping for Spore modding, since even if EA dumbs the game down, the potential is still there.
