Edit: Ninteen, I can't comment too much on your ships, as I don't use loadouts like those often. I will say that your deflectors will tend to target the sections out front, rather than the section 26's, which seems undesirable to me.

This is the Larva. I'm pretty happy with it, though it still needs tweaking.

1 Aegis, 8 railguns, minimal frame, pretty fast. It slices through weapons and damages sections pretty well too, while surviving excellently.

This is the wasp, a hybrid tank. Good survivability given its power, but probably weak against faster ships. If I were to change stuff, I would make it more tanky and take off some weaponry. It's moderately slow, but not abominably so.

I have another ship, a beam-spammer, but it kind of sucks.

Thoughts?

ALSO, I'll try to build a couple of boss mock-ups. I hope that everyon is readying their ships.

Add 300 to HP / 6 points
Total core HP = 800 = 6points

Base max speed / 0
Add .20 to Max / 2 points
Base Accel / 0
Add .04 to Accel / 4 points
Base Turning / 0
Add .16 to Turn / 2 points

Max = .20 = 2
Accel = .04 = 4
Turn = .16 = 2
Total cost = 8 points

16 sections / 8 points
Add 500 hp to 6 sections / 12 points
Total Cost = 20 points

4 deflectors / 16
2 Demeter pod launchers / 24 points
13 Demeter launchers / 26 points.
Total Cost = 66 points.

6 points
8 points
20 points
+ 66 points
100 points

So the choice for paint is:

Blue & purple
Green and brown
Light blue & white
Red and black

I personallt like Green and brown.

i don't mind the color scheme so im neutral on the issue.

@HalfThere: i think the Larva would work very nicely, i do however see a possible problem with Wasp, should we come up against a tachyon wielding abomination or railgun clustered thing, a lot of those forward weapons are gonna get ripped out quite fast, while the deflectors maybe able to prevent this for a while, it won't last forever.

just a heads up.

Ok, The main colour is green, you can add any other colour to personilize your own ships.

anyway ... i was thinking that since im not gonna be up front attacking i really don't need deflectors.
how bout i replace em with boosters so i can spawn even more dornes.

here is my design so far.

twin cannon on either side for flankers.
revolver weasel to go round deflectors
2 light railcannons to destory weapons not protected by deflectors
2 dusks to damage sections.
2 deflectors to protect the ship
2 boosters to boost the dusks.
2 particle guns and 2 flak guns provide pd
4+6+8+6+6+10+8=46
Strengths
good weapon lancer
hard to land decent hits.
weaknesses
Can't deal much section damage
needs 2 more deflectors
tachyons

Might replace front middle section with 2 triangles, and place some twin cannons to support dusks.
no section hp add and stats are default(no points spent on them)
Basically this ship stands there, and fires at whatever becomes exposed.
