Scene; a small cryogenics/cryonics bay in an unknown facility, perhaps in space or on the ground. Eight tubes, all of which are occupied. Room is very dirty, walls/floors are rusted in places, tubes look barely functional. Glass is covered in ice and the tubes are full of mist. Status panels for all tubes display the following sequence, in Terran English;

CRITICAL POWER LEVELS DETECTED. EMERGENCY THAW PROCESS INITIATED. SUBJECT WAKEUP IN: 10:00.

Each is counting down, slowly. Ten minutes until the group awaken. They will have little memory of their past besides their name and birthplace. Who were they? Why are they here? What is this place?

Well, that is up for them to find out...

Six slots up for grabs. Yes, I know there are eight tubes, but the reasoning for that will be revealed when the time comes. I know there's not much information to go on, but I will answer any questions as best I can (plot/etcetera permitting) so long as they are reasonable.

• Your character can be of any race, gender, species, faction, etcetera etcetera. Just don't get too ridiculous, and they should be able to breathe oxygen/air without assistance for obvious reasons.
• Your character has no personal possessions, and no knowledge of their past. This doesn't mean you shouldn't write about it, but take in mind they barely remember who they are.
• They do, however, remember any skills from previous profession, as well as anything else they learned. They do not remember that they learned it, so it's like a master pianist going into a coma, getting amnesia, coming out of their coma and finding he can play the piano like no other, despite not recalling ever having played one.
• There are no psi powers or similar.

Xylian-Tall species, often scene in groups called packs but are seen by themselves although rarely(lone Xylians may be outcastes or packless it is unknown), elongated facial features so many refer to them as wolves. Can be vicious and brutal but tend to reserve it for battle, often cool(less talk, always to the point) within society leading to tense situations within groups. As a whole the species is extremely technologically able and can quickly identify how to use the controls of something whether it is a weapon or a computer but individuals tend to rely on sturdy machines that are preconstructed.

Backstory/Character Traits:
Arrich is a regular human, born and bred on Earth to a wealthy family with ties to the British nobility. On growing up he left his home planet to oversee family-owned mining operations on Mars, where he got significantly involved in local politics and was instrumental in quelling a move for Martian independence from Earth.
He has no implants or augments because he is (was) rich; in a society where only the menial workers were upgraded being pure, or natural, was a prerequisite for high society.

He has no real practical skill in anything but a working knowledge of finances and leading people, but even at these he does not excel as such. He is widely read, however, and knows at least a very little about most subjects.
Other people often find him loud, obnoxious and rude, as he usually fails to recognise the value of social niceties to those people he considers below him. Having worked almost entirely within the more insular parts of human society, he is somewhat xenophobic.

Species data: The Alsu'fu are an advanced race, with a highly intricate and tonal language, almost impossible for humans to learn. The Alsu'fans are short (~3 ft tall, ~60 lbs), furred creatures with almost comically large eyes and head. Their eyes, however, are piercing and bright, and their round heads hold a large brain. Although their size makes them slow to run, they jump well and think fast. Their muscles contain a special bio-metalic material that, when triggered by specialized nerves, creates a temporary electromagnetic field strong enough to repel small metal objects or allow the Alsu'fan to cling to metal surfaces. Their dense fur is soft as silk and covers everything but their faces, feet, and hands. Tiny muscles allow the fur to move like rippling water or tuft up in spikes, another device used to convey linguistic information besides speech. Males of the species are larger and stronger, while females tend to have more precise magnetic control. They are very social and speak Terran fluenty (a simple language compared to theirs), but hate violence and none of them carry firearms, although many have multi-purpose blades the size of paring knives.

Character data: So'ki is reserved, tends not to react to crisis situations, and is definitely not fast on her feet. She is small, even for her species, but she says it just affords her better magnetic control. She carries a 6-inch blade and a woven utility belt, apparently something she made for herself as a child on Xi'ka'l ( a cold planet, but managable for the furred Alsu'fans).

A ripple in a cool, tranquil pool. The world fades into existence, the rhythmic beeps and throb of machinery reaches his ears. A screen flashes to life before his eyes. It displays ina soothing blue text:

Race info: Tairians have a humanoid structure- they are tall and thin- the average Tairian measuring 7 feet tall. Their heads are elliptical with somewhat stretched facial features similar to those of a human, but they have a third eye that is in the middle of their forhead. It is rarely opened and is used to sense heat. They have long retractable claws that are sheathed on the underside of each long and dexterious finger on a seven fingered hand. Tairians are highly flexible and agile, with skin that is quite smoth and glows faintly red. They originated on the planet Sparrakyaa, where they grew from the early mess of nutrients vigorously, skipping living in the ocean and developing complex systems needed to support themselves on the highly volcanic planet surface immediately. They grew tall and flexible, allowing them to keep their heads above the sweltering, sulphurous surface of the planet, yet able to impale the organisms that lived in the haze that was omnipresent around their knees. They have buil advanced civilizations and devices that utilize the haze to farm giant tubeworms, a staple of their diet, especially in their early developing years. Tairian technology is quite advanced, with a certain few who have "The Gift"- the ability to manipulate matter. Other species speculate that they have a stronger magnetic and electrical field that induces strange efffects that cause matter to become extremely malleable. Carbonide melts like butter, water can be as hard as diamond. However, one must be very skilled to perform actions such as that.


Personality: He is quite inquisitive and enegetic, which is quite contrary to the normal Tairian personality. He is quite intelligent and will not hesitate to tell you when you are wrong.

Vision begins to fade and distort as the temperature around him rises and his higher brain functions restart.
