Exam Humor

Post by Da_Higg »

Well I've finished by AS exams now and just have to share a brilliant exam moment.

The question itself was about Humpback Whales and had a picture like so:
Image
Underneath was the caption 'Actual size, 9-18m'
...
Hands up who thought the tree inch long picture was Life Sized.
Look Up
upon reading this:
50% of people will have scrolled up
25% will have looked at their ceiling
The last 25% can now feel smug because everyone else has taken orders from a little sig box.

Some questions make me laugh. I had an A2 Physics one on measuring the radial force on a child's knee as his leg rotates in a circular orbit to kick a football.......inventive.

Best one is an A2 physics one. How far will the Earth move if all the people in China jump at once. I nuked that one, pity we were only doing it as a practice one.

Just thought I'd ask, seeming you take physics. I had a past paper today, and the question was this:

BUT the Data sheet says the muon particle is a lepton:

Any help?

You can't have a Pion made from leptons, which muons definately are. Someone has fucked up there. I would guess they meant up quarks rather than muons.

Funny thing is, muon mesons were mentioned in this mark scheme, the post-exam report from the head examiner AND another question on a different paper!

They definetely meant to write muon meson, even if we all know it is a lepton.

Get this: OCR (UK exam board) printed the mark scheme for the musiv paper on the back of the question paper! They sent it out, and now everyone taking OCR music will have to retake next year.

Not quite sure if this is relevant, but nonetheless it was to me, as I took that examination in question last year. :)

My physics teacher gave us a quiz based entirely around those Wile E. Coyote and Roadrunner sketches. It was by far the best quiz I've ever had to write, I wish I had a copy of it!
Why can't a programmer tell the difference between Halloween and Christmas?

At a school i once went to, they had a test were the teacher said: Read the instructions to every problem before you start answering any questions. Course, half the class didn't and did all the questions. Then they got to the final questions and it says:

"Only complete the first problem, then turn this packet in."

That trick, eh? that's funny. i'm guesing YOU didn't fall for it? ah.... i've heard so many story's like that. speaking of exams, my high school exams are coming up, what do you think i should do? come to school wearing a monkey suit (NOT a tuxedo, a halloween costume!), or wearing a very thick fake muchtache, and a sombrero?

The moustache and sombrero would be awesome.
