Nevindar's Blueprints and shipyards - Wed Jul 30, 2008
Well, Hello. First time posting anything here. Been watching you for awhile though. Well, anyways I finally made up my mind to post something here and get some comments on it.
Check for a "NEW" to see if there are any new updates and ships.
Excepticon Trans-Unity
They excist in about every dimension and reality with atleast Class 4 developed species.
They constantly shift universe, sending trans-dimensional probes and insurgents to find recourses and technology
that they can add to their expanding fleets. They are more or less
looking for their original universe, archeological studies of abnormaly ancient Excepticon cultures shows that they might know where they once
came from.
Since they are driven by both curiosity and an near endless hunger for
information, they spread across all possible realities, stealing, interveining and correcting.
They have no real standard design, they
instead "transmit" blue-prints and schematics for various technologies
from insurgents stationed all around the nearby realities.
Since each universe and/or reality has their own set of rules. Not all
ship desings and technologies are functional, so as said before, they
constantly add and remake their fleets to work in the universe they
currently reside in.
Current Fleet used in BSF Universe.
1. Excepticon Assault Cruise-Destroyer
Info:
A real standard in any Exepticon fleet.
One of the few original Excepticon designs.
Atleast they think its original, the design has been around so long noone remembers.
Armed with weaponry and shielding acceptable to the current universe, the Assault cruise-destroyer is a hard and fast hitting foe.
2. Excepticon Beta Class Frigate Destroyer
Info:
Plans stolen by Excepticon Insurgents for a Omega Class Destroyer for another parallell universe.
And ofcourse, recreated by Excepticon Scientists.
Armed with long-range Las-Artillery particle projectors and defensive turrets, this is one of the best artillery ships capable
of operating in the current universe.
3. Excepticon Class Las Cruiser
Info:
Plans for an Command Cruiser stolen from another semi-distant universe.
This was the only ship that was barley up to Excepticon lowest standards for 'transmission'.
Heavily upgraded with extra armor.
Armed with avrage weapons and loads of extra armor, this is a universal used ship in this universe.
4. Excepticon Enyo Juggernaut
Info:
Seems like Excepticon got their hands on the Enyo plans aswell and unforuently mistook the size a second time.
The only thing they could not replicate (since it was on a separate blue-print) was the Teller-Torpedo system.
So they just added a Phasic Torpedo launcher instead.
Armed with "slightly" larger weapons than the orgininal, this ship is seriously dangerous.
5. Excepticon Galaxy Class Heavy Cruiser
Info:
Plans stolen by Excepticon insurgents from another universe inhabited by human like beings.
Revised and designed into Excepticon use.
Curiously, the nametag 'U.S.S. Yamato' still exsists on the ships.
Fast and good, semi-average ship cabable of independant exploration and recconicanse.
6. Excepticon Hestia Dreadnaught
Info:
Plans for a Hestia Class Assault Destroyer was stolen by Excepticon insurgents planted in this Universe.
Revised and updated to normal Excepticon Standards.
One of the first experiments with the current universe technology, sporting larger weapons than the original.
A good fleet-mix ship.
7. Excepticon Vengance Class Assault Cruiser
Info:
Ship built from schematics stolen from a distant universe.
Resized to more "acceptable" size and Retrofitted with technology that (barley) works in this universe.
Small and hard hitting. Using direct attack weapons, it can be a bit slow in turning.
8. Excepticon Relevant Class Light Attack Cruiser
Info:
Strange plans from a strange universe.
The hull is weak, the speed is avrage, the weapons, although fast, are pretty low powered.
AND its annoyingly big.
So what can we say?
Well, its cheap.
Big and clumsy. This ship is almost only used for cheap fleet boasting.
Except for the Assault-Destroyer (Ship 1). Try and guess what movie/game the other4 ships are "stolen" from.

The "Hecate Battle Titan" (Since someone said something like this) (NEW)
Simply a giant Hecate. I was bored so whatever.
Well...Erhmm... "THE Masterpiece of human igenuity and engineering.
Nothing bigger than an normal Hecate can escape this montrous thing
properly. Have prooven to be a real terror in the enemies eyes.
Its presense on the battlefield is as al rarlast dfd blah,blah,blah...
Well you get the idea."
Since It felt wrong with oversized Particleguns I added several smaller at "strategic" spots. I also seems to have added a few Nano-Matrixes,
probably since a ship that size would probably be abe to have some.
Note: I aint compelty happy with the outcome, I made a much better hull
but it crashed when I was gonna save, so my "construction spirit" dropped a bit.
I remade and this is the result.
By the way, whats up with the text in my BS Ship Maker? Its getting fucking oversized.

The "Venture Class Medium Cruiser" (Guess the insperation)

So, here is "The Naggorok" (name stolen from Homeworld: Cataclysm)
Its a fairly medium-large ship, exotic like alien design, (I simply didn't have the strength to put cool blinking lights on it) with powerfull front-ish mounted energybeam weapons and some semi-powerfull missiles (I think I might tweak theese a bit). This was not the first ship in the line, but one of the latest, I think I had in mind of a fleetship type of vessel. I might post the others too, but first I need some comments on how, for example, balance it better. Right now it might be a bit "Over Powered". Well, It can be destroyed (proven by letting it face one of thoose Megaera type ships).

A small combat test versus some Traxus Class ships and Hestia Prototypes
So, I made another ship. After encountering some new mega heavy ships, I thought about a new kind of design for more direct attacks. So after some screwing around, I finally came up with a mobile fortress like ship. Slow, but lots of HP and guns.
This is the "Sajuuk Core" (Ah, damn. Forgot about the lines)

Well, for starters, it seems a bit spinal. A few connection parts too thin, and things like that. It's a good ship in most other aspects. I'm wondering, did you modify any of the weapons?

Looks superb for one of your early ships; I can just see a couple of things to tweak;
+ Change the core colour, so it matches the hull. Shipmaker resets it each time you open, though, so that might be the reason for it.
+ For posted screens, you can remove parenting lines by pressing "P".
+Unless you intend for extreme-range standoff battles, AI range 2000 is a bit over the top.
Nonetheless, there's some nice custom colour, good parenting, and not (visible) overgunning - thumbs up!

Thanks. Well, yea. I guess I could add a few more connections, fix the color and decrease the AI range. And yes, all weapons are modded.

Ah, yes I knew about two of them, they were actually fixed, but I forgot to update the picture. Anyway, the one to the left im not sure what to do about. I guess Ill try and fix it, but right now, Im fine with it.
About the Megaera ship, it was quite hard to take down. First of all, it never stops firing, making a direct run impossible with slow ships as it just keeps bouncing back a bit from each hit. And when you least expect it, that evil beam cannon simply slices the ship in half. After a few different tactics I managed to get close enough to use the beam cannons, after that it was quite easy to break it. Its a good ship you've made.
