New Ships of Seraphim Industries - Updated 08/03/08

Archives for ships and fleets. 'nuff said. Most of the ships here are very very old and will not work in current versions of BSF or SM. You have been warned!

Another remake ship, it's the Progenitor Mk. II. This particular design style (with the funky doodads) was inspired by Comus' X-1 and X-4, so credit goes to him for that. Hope you guys like it. :D

Nice, creative usage of an Aegis there.

That's used quite a bit, actually.

Indeed it is, although I was one of the first people to implement it, back when I made the original Progenitor, in October of last year. It's no longer a new idea now, but it still looks good.

Lovely 'veined' design and colors.

The Aegis 'reactor' is cool.

I think though you could get rid of the weapon stretching which in my opinion is hideously ugly.

Seconded, otherwise it's fabulous. I think you should use the X-4 doodads on all future SIUS ships.

I would, Exethalion, except think of how much lag my typical ships usually induce. Now add hundreds of doodads on top of that. Christ, just imagine how horribly that would lag. Not to mention the fact that it would take a very, very long time to do this on my larger ships. I will, however, probably make (or remake) a few more ships similar to this one.

It's really neat looking. Especially in game. But yes, that weapon stretching is absolutely horrid.

Hey, Anna, I got a suggestion. Take mah Kraken CCC and recreate it into a pwnsomness of Anna. Make up some backstory if you want.

"The ???? is a recreation of the PASF's Kraken at their commissioned request. It is a highly visual 'show ship' ......."

Lol.

If you take that challenge I'd love to see what'd it be like. Just don't make it oversized so my shitty E2140/GMA950 can handle it.

The front of the new ship looks like a bird.
Kind of like some sort of giant metallic hawk diving down toward its prey.
Very intimidating, and very cool.
Did you do it on purpose?
took me a minute cuz i didn't see it, then i imagined it directly above me, diving towards me. Owch.
I can't even claim to want to imitate these ships because the level of detail and thought put into them is far beyond even the level I'd like to reach. Works of art

"Is Anna dead?" I hear some of you wondering. "Has he stopped building ships?" You may ask. Well, the answer is no. I've taken a few shots at making smaller, stock-balanced ships, recently, but all such attempts have been discarded, since I bore of them ever so quickly.

Instead, I've gone back to what I know; Making huge and obscenely powerful ships that look totally awesome. I've got one in the works, currently. It doesn't look like much, yet, but trust me, once it's done it should be suitably impressive.

Here's what I've got of it, so far, the Memento Mori:

Is it a flying graveyard? That would be cool.

Also, awesome.
