Yes I know this is similar and different to the AtM tournament, but I tried to make it as different as possible instead of just a AtM with different rules. Anyway here it is. if you think this is just lame just say so, and if most of the people say its lame and/or not enough people join, ill just get rid of it.

The pirates have practicly outdone themselves this time. They are attempting to contruct a ship that will be used to dsestroy the military! You can choose between the pirate or the military side. Military get hulking dreadnoughts, while pirates get raiders. However, the pirates will be assisting the Juggernaut in this battle. This will change the turnout of the battle drasticly, however we need some pirate players and remember you can join both pirate and military.

Message recieved from the Juggernaut "You will fail this battle. The Juggernaut is too powrful for your puny ships."

Your only information is this image, taken by the sadly now destroyed USS Declaration.

It is still being built, but we captured a few of the designs and discovered that it was going to be symettrical.

A picture of the Juggernaut almost completed with scaffolding still on was taken by a group of spies that made it out safely.

First choose a faction, pirate or military.


Pirates get 8 players, plus the juggernaut, military get 10 players.

All upgrades are below:

1 point=100 Hp to one section for frigate, 150 for destyroyer, or 200 for battleship.
1 Point=0.01 Acceleration
1 point= .50 speed for frigates, .30 for destroyers, .10 for battleships. Max-Speed 4
1 point= .15 turning
1 point= 3 sections if battleship, 2 if destroyer, 1 if frigate
1 point= 20 HP Max-750 Core HP

Additional Rules:
-Each Section can have only up to 3 weapons/modules.
-Parenting must be LOGICAL.
-Sections must not overlap more than 75% of another.
-Aegis'd sections must have a 40 degree gap in between them when measured from the core, and must not cover more than 130 degrees when measured from the core.
-Remember you can use deflectors with aegis deflectors, but please respect the limits.
-All weapons must have a normal arc or less.
-You can set any AI range you want.
-You can set any AI except kamakaze AI, no KM's allowed.
-Any ship must not exceed 150 points
-Pirates are restricted to frigate class.
-Sections can be resized to only up to 3 times. You can shrink sections but I don't see why you would want to do that. Sections can not be shrunk to the point that they are invisible.



Remember that you are fighting other players ships, not just the Juggernaut, so be sure to make it so your ship works well with your fleet and also is effective against the enemies.



Taking all this into account, get ready to design your killing machine!

The ships will be arranged in a fleet formation you decide. The Juggernaut will be placed by me so do not iclude it in your formation.

I'll sign on for Military.

Its not a bad idea, but can you make a nice happy table?

It'd be nice to have a pretty table. Atleast use tabs or something to line everything up.

Also you need: "I'm the Juggernaught, B****H!" somewhere in your post.
Also, where is base section HP?
Also, why are some of the weapons prices ridiculous?

Military has already won this one just from the rules. Their ships are twice as powerful, they have twice as many, and I REALLY doubt the Juggernaut is gonna make up the difference.

Also, if the pirates have weak raiders, shouldn't they have MORE of them? Instead of LESS?

Maybe if the pirates are supposed to be fast raiders they should be restricted to the frigate class.

The thing is I bet this may be hard to balance. It all depends on how that juggernaut factors in.

Im in on the military side ;P

I figure that you guys might want a capital ship on your side that serves as a gigantic fortress >_>.. well its a destroyer class from the ICC (battleship in here) but meh ;P didn't have the points to make a cruiser class

I foresee a problem:

Picks pirate frigate class. Puts 80 points in sections. Has 240 sections (!). Is a meat shield. And that's supposedly the smallest class. Mm-kay.

Okay im asking for suggestions on how to balance it, so here are the new changes ill make:

Juggernaut says something like "Haha Im gonaa win !11!!11"
Pirates get 8 ships not 5
pirates can only have frigatyes, but can have 150 points as well
fixing some wep prices
Alien weps restricted to military(they confiscated them all :P)
section HP added

Quad is not an alien weapon, Repeaters are. Acell should be buyable.
