Templar&Ally fleet[all asymetry]- new Large Capship

Archives for ships and fleets. 'nuff said. Most of the ships here are very very old and will not work in current versions of BSF or SM. You have been warned!

That ship reminds me of birds for some reason.

I was going to try that program once. What's it like/is it free?
Easy to use, especially the 2000 one I'm using [there's also afair 95, 2003, Xp, some console spin-offs and an upcoming VX version].

About being free... it's downloadable, mainly since I don't remember an official release outside Japan

EDIT:

Anyone knows how often do the beam weapons deal damage? Is it per/second, per/frame?

Beams do damage per frame, so a 1 damage beamer will do 30 damage per second, provided that it has a long enough duration, and actually makes contact with something during those 30 frames.

Ok, here another less-armed and military ship - the Sheath class transport
Image
The Sheath is an all-purpose ship. Based on the attached cargo containers, it can carry anything, from troops and tanks to water and food supplies. It's weakly armed and armoured, so usually requires an escort of several Swords, but in areas of higher risk it's not uncommon to see Sheaths convoys covered by ships up to even Squire or Knight -class battleships.

I'm a big fan of this. The forums need more transport ships, and this one looks much more like a ship viewed from top-down than the previous ones.

It looks kinda cool. If I might add a suggestion . . .

Image
I think it would look better with an arm-like structure on that starboard wing.

I really like the ships! A different sort of design (its not every day asymmetrical ships come rolling out of the yards). But something here bugs me a bit. Although you beat me to the posting, I named one of my ships a Longbow class (part of the fleet I will be posting in the hour)! Its all cool though. Just let it be known that the Templar Fleet is awesome, and the class names for one of our ships copy each other (through a series of unconnected events).
No, wait, go back! Why are there six pedals if there are only four directions?

I love the "depth" on the Sheath.

It looks kinda like it's carrying a bunch of inverted Zeluseses...es... (Zelii? Zeles?)
