And... complexity is a bad thing? I think most of these would actually fit in fairly well with the current pieces, and would help people design more unique and varied custom ships.Boba Fetuccini wrote:these are all great! but no offense, only a few would actually fit in with BF. Most of them are wayyy too complex. I'll get mine up later.

Core armor. This section fits around a standard core perfectly, giving it extra cover. Perfect for bigger ships... And maybe even really small ones!

Also nice sheet there, Boba, but a lot of them are too big - the limit is 80x80. (Well, 79x79 or 78x78 since you want evenly-widthed sections.)

I also like the idea of maybe differing styles and levels of complexity as well. It'll make ship design just that bit more spicyAnna wrote:And... complexity is a bad thing? I see several objects that show promise. I'll redesign them minimally to get them in the approved format.Arcalane wrote:It kind of said that right there on the first post in the guidelines!Boba Fetuccini wrote:oh. I didn't know that =( I'll try resizing the bigger ones.
The limit is technically 79x79 since you need a 1pixel border of black, plus the bottom-left pixel must be black.
EDITED again, permission given by Boba.

I would like to congratulate Boba on his effort, however. I hope these can be considered 'his' and not mine, since with the exception of the C section they're essentially unmodified. I did remove the holes in that section, however, because they looked structurally weak (yeah I have an engineer's aesthetic with these things).

P.S. he says he liked my version of the C better.

It's generally polite if you ask before modifying someone's work, you know.Danny420Dale wrote:I see several objects that show promise. I'll redesign them minimally to get them in the approved format.

Some of them could still work - they'd just need to be split into two/three pieces, then put together manually in the editor.
