Basically, I am gathering a whole bunch of fleet class names.

Ascending Order, Smallest to Largest

List 1 (Based on 'generic' terms)


List 2 (based on heavier feeling names):


List 3 (based on age of sail ships):


List 4 (based on more futuristic sounding names):


List 5 (Stellar Constructions)


Objections about size listing is also welcome. When submitting a ship size, please include size.

Please refrain from submitting:
Wikipedia pages. I've been there, and selected the ones I think make sense.
Anything that simply adds another word (e.g. Supertanker) or phrase to an existing name.
Giant lists
Multi-word names

Ship class "modifiers" (e.g. Assault Destroyer, Heavy Barge)


Please refrain from submitting:
Specific name "modifiers" - e.g. Destroyer Escort
Anything containing "super" or "ultra"
Improperly spelled words

Your assistance in helping me is appreciated to the highest degree.

Titan and Behemoth can both work as Ship Sizes. Also, Gunboat.

For modifiers, one I'm fond of is "Anti-Capital", used to specify ships that are designed for the explicit purpose of destroying Capital Ships.

Ah, don't really need ship sizes right now, but I'll make note of 'Titan' and 'Behemoth'. I created a second list for ship class names that don't fit in well with the other ships, to add more variety.

I'm in dire need of ship types around destroyer size.
