Omegan Empire Fleet

Archives for ships and fleets. 'nuff said. Most of the ships here are very very old and will not work in current versions of BSF or SM. You have been warned!

How do you all like it? I've shown it fighting some Pirate Raiders for scale. I equipped it with 4 deflectors because I was playing around. I also equipped it with 2x Blasters, 2x Flax Guns, and 2x Missile, again, because I was just playing around. I have the AI set to flanking, so that it can use it's speed to dodge most shots and hit the enemy's week points. It is also very fast.

My nest project is to try and make a Constitution or Defiant-Class from Star Trek.

EDIT: I saw the mistake, and I fixed it!
EDIT 2: I fixed the image. Was missing a keystroke...

When a ship has the same number of sections as it does deflectors, it's too much.
Look Up
upon reading this:
50% of people will have scrolled up
25% will have looked at their ceiling
The last 25% can now feel smug because everyone else has taken orders from a little sig box.

Aha. I'm thinking you might want to check your spelling there. That, or there's something very wrong about those Pirates' weaponry.

Hi! Welcome to the BSF forums!

For your first ship, I guess it's all right. Just check about the forums for examples of other people's ships which you may wish to take pointers from. Anyway, your first ship is way better than my first one.

Oh, and cut down a little on the deflectors. :D

I am working on a new ship that only has one deflector. I think I'm gonna keep the protus class with four deflector because I like it's gold look. I am also experimenting with th rochach (I hope I spelled that right) to see what it does. Also, does anyone have any suggestions on weapons that would look most like phasers? I can't really decide.

Build the ship in SM3 and change the colouring to what you want. It works well for photons and quantums as well.

Need a picture without the deflectors up. I can't see the ship.

It's the latest version of the ship builder.

Because you asked nice, here:

Image

I have it in formation with a Hecate and another ship for scale. The other ship is a new one, Stryker Class, wich a have another pic of here:

Image

It only has one deflector, and is equipped with 4x Particle Guns, 2x Point Beams, 2x Missiles, and 2x Gat Blasters. I have the standard AI setting for it, so it just sits there. Is this okay?
