Small pointy section and a real honest-to-God bow section.

Hexastruct: Image

Well decided to participate in this too and play with hexagons. Why? Cuz you can combine hexagons anyway you like.

I am not very good with pixel art tough… Need to try to do it in Flash :D Can control how vectors are restarized there :D
Ouh. Or may be I should make Flash based section drawer… So that you can draw sections in browser :D With correct vector editing and rasterizing without blurs… Any need for such thing?

Anyways it would be great to see other hexagonal parts. I think I will also try pentagonal too later :)

I want the hexagons too. They'd make nice sectional ablative armor pieces.

Ok as I said I played with pentagonal part idea. It is not as good combinable as hexagon but you can make interesting things with it too. Also features weapon mount at center and looks more like armor this time…

I am thinking on making series of hexagonal parts now. Armor parts, weapons mounts, core part, thruster parts. Considering that they will well combine with each other this should be cool :)

I'm hoping so too, plus a whole bunch more sections from way earlier in the thread. Maybe SM3?

Cleaned up some asymmetry a bit and kept modification to a minimum.
