Ironicly she has 1000 points less of HP then my Ragnarok Super Dreadnought. But the Ragnarok isn't as large, nor does it even have HALF of the firepower.Ethril wrote:Er... From the looks of the screenshot in his topic, it DOES have thousands of points of armor. Five thousand, to be specific.
I don't think anything I throw at it will even get near the hammer, much less hurt it.
Hell, I don't think anything I throw at it will last more then 2 seconds.

I did give it a bit more. Also, the Velvet does have 5000 points it's self.Ethril wrote:Er... From the looks of the screenshot in his topic, it DOES have thousands of points of armor. Five thousand, to be specific.
It's those Beamers that are really deadly. 6 of them, each one with 6 shots, and doing 60 damage/frame, and insta hit. My Mega Beamers on my ship only do 40, and are tri-beam. Also, they miss, a lot.
Yeah, AI vs AI, mine still won, took longer though, and the velvet did Some okay damage. Sure I had a longer time to make a counter, but your ship has enough deflectors to cover an entire flankWell you also have to take into account the AI sucks.
And also, you had access to the ship long before anyone else here did, so you had more time to make a counter.

Actually the beamers on the Hammer do 70pts of damage a piece.
And The thing about fighting the hammer, the AI seems to be really retarded about controlling her Deflectors. I actually control them manually when using her in combat.
Also the pic on the first post of this page is outdated. The current version of the Hammer has Ablative plating on her engines as well.
Also for anyone interested. Here is a Sidecut of the Hammer, showing the frame.

Yes, I build all my ships on a frame, it helps them absorb the shock of most high yield weapons on the field these days.

Well, seeing as my ships aren't that threatening, I spawned three Phoenixes, two Sparrows, two Dragonwings and a Raikage, against one Hammer. Here's what happened...Lizzie wrote: The emotions of a troubled woman can be a powerful weapon when really forged into one.
Those beams have been known to overload deflectors.
Did it even get a chance to use it's secondary guns on you or did the lasers just eat your ships for breakfast?
Not meant to brag at all, I'm just curious how quickly they got you.
And don't give up so soon! Unless you like to just stick to a certain balance level.
I tried to circle my Phoenixes around, while just going head-on with the rest. Before I knew it, the three fighters were blown up, the Sparrows were down, and the Dragonwings were barely holding out with the deflectors. I managed to shield the Raikage, until the 'Wings practically started to fall apart. The Raikage, however, got its railguns in range (I even doubled damage on them), hit it like two times, shot some pulsars at it, and then... I don't even know what hit it. It just got into this chain-reaction of explosions, until only the core was floating around. I called it quits there

Meh, I'll see if I can't pump up the Hokage plans, then I'll give it another shot. The goal? See if it lasts more than thirty seconds ^^
On a side note, I like that sidecut you got there.

I put it up against one of the refits, with the extra layers of ablative, and some upgraded railguns, but not much, and I litterelly cored it. I destroyed like 2 or 3 of the ablative plates, 1 on the opposite side of the ship from where I was shooting, and then the core bought it. The Mjolnir II (refit) took about 50% damage to the ablative layers, but thats it.Lizzie wrote:People there is a weak spot in the beast, one I discovered when engaging one of Moljonir's Moljonir II class Battleships.
BTW Hammer can BARELY engage of of those one on one and win.
I'm not going to tell you the weakness though, you'll have to find it on your own.![]()
Just know it exists.

Mjolnir, Hammer of Thor. Id like to see you try to kill me, and why would you want to take my stuff, its all crap anyway.

Yea one time I took on your ships again and got cored. That was nasty.Mjolnir wrote:I put it up against one of the refits, with the extra layers of ablative, and some upgraded railguns, but not much, and I litterelly cored it. Yea but that's not the weakness I spoke of.Ixranin wrote:The right-left pylons on Lizzie-brand ships have a tendancy to be blown off whole by Demeter swarms. >_>
