Let's face it, the main attraction of BSF is building your own ships. Share them! If you need help, check the Shipmaker Info & Help forum a little ways down.
Previous suggestions.
R0ni and Necro: Demeter x 6 added (not shown)
R0ni and Calvin: Redid arms, used smooth sections for body.
R0ni: Increased body size by 33% to counterbalance the appearance of the arms.

Current Progress:
Spoiler!
Face blown off, still kicking. . . .
Zalausai Edit: Added color palette demonstration
A download will be available upon completion. I'm still taking suggestions and comments to influence the final work.

Good shipbuilders never die . . . they just fade away.
The first ship that I ever made featuring fully articulated arms and claws utilizing an advanced system of turret behavior.
Spoiler!
Constructed by the darkness using the unsuitable wreckage of fallen Heretic ships. Anything deemed unfit for construction of a full-fledged Darkness ship was put together into the scrapheap ships known as Ogres. One of many, lacking the usual sleek design of most darkness ships, ogres are still a force to be reckoned with on the battlefield. Merging heretic combat ship AI with darkness technology, Ogres function exceedingly well in small groups.

Now that is pretty nasty. I think it still needs those strange glows across its body like the Doogie's Darkness vessels have, but otherwise this is just alright.
I gotta say... it's not really very attractive. The arms are cool and fun, but you need to give the ship a bit more style and flair and generally improve its look, 'cause right now it's... very bland. I'm sure Doogie could help with that, though.

Gay cute girl and fucking proud of it.
I still don't really like it. I think the body might be too small relative to the arms.
Though that gives me ideas. I'm gonna try and revamp my old BP entry. Might be worthwhile.
I will redo the triggers later today if I have permission to do so.
It will be awhile. I have to turn in 30 drawings for college art class by midnight.

A crapton of experience Roni. That's what. I've been on these forums for almost 4 freaking years, and I actually was off to a very rough start compared to you. Thank the Lord almighty that imagehost went under so no one can every possibly see those.
Anyhow, Zal, I actually think you are too structured when it comes to colors. BSF is different than straight up graphic design, so just go and feel it out. Also, try to visualize the lines on your ships and see how they interract with eachother.

I still haven't found my ship making style yet.
Most of the initial ideas were abandoned as the process dragged on. My main concern was the arms. I had to make sure that I could do them correctly in preparation for a tutorial to make them. It was planned before cryosleep even asked me to do it.
Doogie, currently all I know is structure. Having OCD doesn't help.

I have been busy planning the articulated arms tutorial after losing my notes.
For this ship, I have tried to a degree to mimic Doogie12's refinements to the Ogre.
Besides, I need more Darkness ships for the next "Sunrise" RPG story segment.

I removed all the weapons and re-did the drivers. Although I didn't test it at all and its been a while since I messed with triggers.
Testing complete.
I have reconfigured all of the limbs and claws. The new front "fangs" have also been articulated.
It only has four firing weapons, but those can be done when the Darkness have standardized weapons.
Thanks for the help Doogie12. And thanks for leaving my round section axis tricks, it made setting it back up much easier.
All of Doogie12's work on this ship has been preserved during the articulation process.
Points of articulation added: 10
Points of articulation reconfigured: 4
Spoiler!
Here it is fighting another darkness ship (Shattersoul)
