this isnt realy a specific empire thing its like 4 empires

Human Empire
One of the oldest empires most ravaged with war the humans lust for expansion have almost been its demise many times
but they are one of the stronger empires with large tactical advantages they are the best space station designers and have built bunkers into almost all there planets turning them into unpenitrable fortreses there ships arnt the best so they useally relie on seiges slowly wearing away the enemy.

Weigian Empire
A peacful race that trys not to be in war but they are forced in by the curent conditions they hold the best salvage technolegy but there combat technonlegy is laking so most of there fighting tech was salvaged from wreckages
they are also allies with the human empire combining there space station tech with salvage tch they created large ships capible of salvaging wreckage feilds at unknown speeds.

Antion Empire
A waring nation that only cares for war they have the greatest fighting tech in the universe but there other tech lacks greatly they have one of the largest empires in the universe but they have many goverment problems

Andorian Empire
known only for there engine tech and cloaking devices they have the best engine tech in the universe being able to jump from one end to the other in a very short time they hold nomad like colonys staying in large motherships moving from star to star colecting what resources they need then disapering into space again

Other Empires:
Pirates
groups of non-lawabiding people raiding planets they are a constant nuciance
Rouges
even worse then pirates they are formemer members of empires that ran off with there empires ships they hold some of the best tech of the universe but they are so unorganized the don't pose much of a threat

Universe Story
(this will help you get the general idea of what is hapening at this time)
In the year 5000 the great apocalypse came many years late then it wa spredicted by so many the universe had dried up civilizations had reached there max colonizing almost every planet in the universe soon war broke out as races fought for the last resource bareing planets and stars soon many people had died of starvation and lack of suplys ships began to decay and were barly being held together soon they realized the great wreckage feilds in the universe were there only chance they became so valuble to the point of wear ships would fight for months over small wreckage feilds only adding to the size of them giving even more reason to have them most small empires had died off being pumbled by the larger empires leaving only the few empires to fight for survival

This reminds me vaguely of the backstories one of my RL friends would often write.

They'd all have 3 to 10 clearly-demarcated SMAC ripoff factions at war with each other for some stupid reason. He'd write vague "pros and cons" descriptions of each faction with respect to the war. I'd ask, 'wat abowt there kulture n ekonomy bro' and he'd be like 'What economy? It's the future!' Also, there would always be a Chinese faction and they would always be nigh invincible, because he's a commie Chinese nationalist prick.

When I nicknamed him "Factionspam Chinawins", he simply changed his terminology from "Faction" to "Group".

I guess Rockboy's writing isn't nearly that bad, but he should be wary of Factionspam Chinawins Syndrome, making sure to fluff out his backstories a bit more, preferrably in a non-formulaic way.

He's right, the writing is piss poor and the universe is bland and uninteresting.
Also, for someone who lives in America your English writing is pretty incomprehensible in places. If it's your second (or third etc.) language, then that's perfectly okay, but if you've grown up speaking English or if you know it well then you should probably feel ashamed.

Ah but I have a magical tool you can use to defend yourself! They are called periods! Or full stops if your British but then your kinda hopeless anyway. To be fair, I did find two...My suggestion is simply to run spell check, and your writing will probably be better received.

...What? The second half of your sentence has me genuinely confused. If my interpretation is right, you're saying you ignore insults; insulting though it may be what I wrote is right so it may be worth taking into consideration.
As for spellcheck, most internet browsers have it included or available I believe, though truth be told I can't speak with full surety about browsers other than firefox. For grammar things are a bit more difficult, open office/microsoft word grammar checkers aren't very good so you'll probably have to work on grammar yourself.

To get away from Rockboys lack of grammar, I think that the idea for many diffrent races is a good idea but you need to add more detail to it aswell as giving a timeline would help.
