ok, sorry for the long delay, i've been bogged down with school etc.

anyway:

kiltric - Tuchax: stats fine,

pyrophage: - leviathan: stats wrong for manouevering, speed calculated as 0.66, accel 0.06 and turning 0.78. you also have spare mass and power allowment, not sure if this was intentional
- cancer: this goes way over the power and mass limits (875 mass over and 195 power) and again the manouevering is too high, how are you calculating that?

the trilobite seems fine though, so that's alright

Destroyer#1: it would help if you list weapon mass/power on stats as well, i'll check against the ship file later

Calvin - Wasp: ok that's great, all entered

Kittenpillar - Owl: stats are fine, now you just need a dowload

pyrophage: also, i added up the mass and power you've stated in the specs and a. you've got a lot left over (not sure if you were aware of this) and b. the speed, accel and turning come out higher for me (0.88, 0.07 and 1.32 respectively)

I assumed that these stats you gave me were accurate (I believe I've preserved the overall mass of the thrusters since that post.)

I'll work it out here so you can correct me if I've made an error somewhere.

(800mass*4speed/mass)/14400=.22 speed per heavy thruster
(400mass*4speed/mass)/14400=.11 speed per medium thruster
So .55 total speed, unless I've missed something.

(800mass*.3acceleration/mass)/14400=.0166 per heavy thruster
(400mass*.3acceleration/mass)/14400=.0083 per medium thruster
So .042 acceleration, again, barring any errors.

(800mass*6turning/mass)/14400=.333 per heavy thruster
(400mass*6turning/mass)/14400=.166 per medium thruster
So, again, unless I've missed the mark, the turning is .83

So, I think we were both wrong.
Really hope this doesn't sound smarmy or like I'm trying to 1-up you.

You keep mentioning a surplus, I thought I was just a hair under the limit, is it really so large? I'd really hate to waste points I could be using.

it's because you divide the total thrust etc. by used mass, not allowed mass

and iirc it was around 1000 mass or something, i can't quite remember though

Updated my post on page 12. Changed download to a .zip. Swapped out the cruiser. Removed the hax weaponry. Also I think I did the armor correctly this time. Let me know if somethings off.

Vidboi, I have a question:
the used mass is actually how heavy the spaceship is, the avalible mass is how heavy the spaceship can be to lift off, if it's heavier it would have to be made in an orbital construction platform and would be very slow and cumbersome, however, more to the point is that the weight of the ship is used mass and not allowed mass so really, we should be dividing the thrust by used mass.
This will give people a chance to make their ship lighter so it can move faster while having relative freedom over it's size.

jwa, I see a slight problem with the engines on your cruiser

Thrusters Ion (1x): (mass= 1000each)
Mounts: 1x large: mass allowance: 1000, power allowance: 400
Power (each) = (mass*0.5): 500

500 power on a 400 PA mount.
