Pretty good. I like the inverse trianglar design you choose which the sharp part is at tail(head is big and tail is slim I mean).
But the concave of the front is empty. I'd like to put my hand in this hole.

Re: I'm back
Nice work there, a pleasing shape and design. Are the two protuding pipes meant to be engines as they look quite different to the ones at the rear of the ship.

Re: I'm back
Wow, TBH i'd already forgotten about this thread
@alive916 Well, the front is empty cause I never actually have any shapes in mind, this ships kinda just build themselves. It just so happens that this ship put itself together with a hollow front.
@Exethalion, The protruding pipes are actually fuel rods, i'm sure you who has been around for so long must remember how just about every ship used to have them.
Thanks for the praise, all.
Criticism is appreciated, as always. I'll see if I can dig up another of my ships.

Re: Random assortment of "sheep"s
The ship's pretty good all round, the muted tones are quite nice and it works really well with the shading. I only don't like the back area, something's just doesn't feel right about it
Those that live by the sword... get shot by those that don't.
Re: Random assortment of "sheep"s
I think Ima is talking about the rear engine compartment of the alienish ship, which I agree. It's too straight and blocky compared to the rest of the ship.
The first one right before it is quite well-made.

Realism, seriously? It's a space ship game. Realism was thrown out the window a long time ago.

Re: Random assortment of "sheep"s
Well, with the advent of the Kaelis' Shiny sections (Which I find super awesome. Thanks for the hard work Kaelis ) my previous ships are now more or less dead.
Anyway, I've managed to find some time to mess around with the sections and got this:
Credits:
Kaelis for ALL of his sections. (Not just the new ones) Without which none of our shipbuilding endeavors would be possible.
Anna and STARSTRUCK for the God-like ships we've all learnt to love, admire and ultimately learn from.
Everyone who has posted constructive criticism that has helped my improve my shipbuilding skills.
P.s. Sorry guys, feeling sentimental all of the sudden. I'm sure the moment will pass.

Re: Random assortment of purple "sheep"
Yay, new colour scheme!
Deviating from my normal 'pod' shape.
Small 3/4 pod
Medium pod (Hmm, just noticed the missing doodad)
Small pod (Yes, I can see that it's not purple)
Armament not expected anytime soon since i'm lazy like that.
C&c always welcome. (Seriously)

Re: Random assortment of purple "sheep"
not really much i can see that could be improved with these ships. they're very solidly buolt and the sectionwork is almost flawless. i particularly like the first ship which could look really good with some appropriate weapons
There is no OP, there is only more boosters...

As usual, you don't disappoint, Crimsonflame. Lovely ships, all of them. Really hard to find and big flaws. I know you don't get much response, which is a shame, but i want to say i really appreciate your creations. Keep going!

@vidboi
Thanks, but for reasons unknown I really dread arming ships so I don't think that'll be happening for awhile.
@Kaelis
None of which would be possible without your sprites if I might add.
It's probably from my responses that come so slowly people think they're talking to a wall and that my responses normally lack "fun" due to the fact that the combination of ":" and "P" [my most used smiley] has been turned into this.... thing
[Thing in question: ]
Built about a day after the others but I forgot to post it up.
Tried imitating the style Anna used in his GGG-HI ships.

Re: Random assortment of purple "sheep"
nice once again. the only thing i would advise is that you move the semi-circular bits on the outriggers in line vertically with the orange triangles. right now it just looks a bit odd.

Re: Random assortment of purple "sheep"
I should have posted here a lot sooner, but I'm a silly forgetful person sometimes. We talk about your ships plenty on IRC, but I know all too well how depressing it is for your thread not to get responses. Let me just say that I love your ships and you should keep building them! And post downloads!
