I present to you the H class fighter!
I made it because I was bored with the whole watch the computer shoot idea.
Its made for those times when you just HAVE to blow SOMETHING up.



specs:

6 x aim-21 long range radar guided missiles
1 x 73mm chaingun with 4000 rounds
1 x lantern IR navigation pod
1 x ARGU visual targeting system mounted above and behind the cockpit(not shown here)



Commands for your new fighter:
It works best in control mode 2 I found

Space - fires your missiles of DOOOOM

Q - burns holes through your enemies with the 73mm chaingun

Notes: This was bult with the smsprites pack and my own small pack

This is one of the better ships you've made.

However, it still lacks depth and needs a serious injection of some colour and better section choice/composition (For the wing pylons, at the very least).


Also, glad to see someone getting an early start on triggers and DC control stuff.

Your custom sprites are okay... actually, they have some potential. Go make a Sprite Pack or something.

I plan to add this missile to the fighter with a rail reload system

Space - fires you aim-21's

F - fires your uber long range aim-54's of doom

Q - burns holes through your enemies with the 73mm chaingun

The red dots basically ruin the ship, either remove them or darken all of your sections. The dark shades and the red would work better.

Edit: darken all the sections anyway, the ship looks kinda messy, and people will be less likely to notice if they can't really make out the details on the ship

This is horrible shipbuilding "advice". Don't cover up your mistakes by using stupid tricks, learn how to fix your mistakes properly.

If anything they'll be more likely to notice, and dark colour schemes just make people yell at you for making it so dark they can't see the detail, which in many cases leads people to assume you're using it as a cover for shitty shipbuilding skills.

This ship wasn't build to look good!
I build it to vent my anger on some little dots on a computer instead of some poor human!
I am a horrible ship builder and I really don't care.
My ship works, that's all that matters.

Besides,"beauty is in the eyes of the beholder".
To me its beautiful because it works!
This is one of the few ships that works the way I want it too!

That doesn't make criticisms against your ship any less valid.

Dude don't act like that, noone outrightly bashed your ship. The only valid negative criticism I saw is that the red dots mess with the design, that theres a few spots where you could clean up the section work, and that shading would help. Besides this all being true, this is almost the standard advice your bound to generate by posting any ship. I'm in no way telling you what to do but a ship made in anger without desire for criticism is best put in the custom ship gallery.

I didn't do depthing because I can't.
I just can't figure out what colors to use and the shades etc its just to much for me.
If anyone here wants to try their hand at it I am going to release the plans as well as the ship from now on.

I'm sorry if it doesn't have shading or the right colors but thats just not my thing.
I just like building the ships and I have many ideas for them, only a few get posted here.
Since I was going to release this anyway I might as well release it here.

Its a bit generic but you know, if you shrunk that to be about Demeter Drone size, and made it one section with a spinning GIF, it would make a legit projectile/drone

The other ship has an interesting design, but you beefed up the wings too much. Simply make it look like they are attached to the main body instead.

The H class has the IJF-9 multimissile launch system.
That the the thing that
1. reloads the missile after firing from the internal bay
2. gives targeting data to the missile
3. allows the fighter to get up in space in the first place as it has a MK 9 CRAMJET build into it

The IJF-9 is ejected from the wings before the fighter enters the dogfight
and after it empties the entire bay of missiles

I'm hoping on the next release of BF it will allow me to make the IJF eject
(I need something like a "Distruct" mode so if you push / it distroys "ejects" the whole part in one piece)
