Ship,parts,ideas

Archives for ships and fleets. 'nuff said. Most of the ships here are very very old and will not work in current versions of BSF or SM. You have been warned!

LactoseTolerant wrote:Any singular color works. However, when choosing two colors, it is highly adviseable to pick two colors adjacent to each other on the color wheel. Complementary colors may work well if done in stock and done well, but for SWA sprites, it hardly ever goes well. Just stick to one color and turn the saturation down.
Actually, some of the best combinations will be found by using colors OPPOSITE each other on the color wheel. Adjacent colors don't always work.

I have a better idea. Simply choose a colour that your like, then pick a grey shade that compliments it. Problem solved.

... Get rid of those gaps/holes in the back of the ship. Just... get rid of them

Most of the sections in the main body are kinda...flat. You need a bigger variety of sections on your ships. You've also streched some of the sections, and it doesn't really look that good.

Choice of colouring is... bad. I say just use grey shades until you know what your doing

And what is with those floating sections?

It's a penis. You might want to fix that.

Is it just me or are all the image links broken, as in, I see the [IMG] tags.

He needs to remove the ?action=view&current= part of the link for the IMG tags to work properly.

Fairly interesting profile, but given the shape of the sections lending to a bit of a jumbled feel, and the current monochromatic color scheme, it's difficult to tell the depth. Given some work, the finished product might turn out to be rather nice, though.
