Transforming mech (piggy) fleet
After a three month hiatus, I came back to find out that everyone & their grandma are using spanking new ship-wright sprites.
Ah well I'm just gonna dump my newest mechs here:
But wait, those are just normal ships!
I got bored so I kinda went ahead & made transformers...

This fleet is dedicated to my little brother whose love of pigs have yet to cease in annoying me to no end. Hope you're happy now that you have a fleet of transfomers. And yes, that means these mechs are piloted by little pigs.
Well, I'm too disheartened to post any GIFs so go ahead if you wanna. I think the best I'll do is a short bio for each of the mechs then leave it at that. Alternatively here's the download:

Bio:
The 'Neketsu' is at its core a very simple NACS, but it is in simplicity that it excels in. In its ship mode it is nothing but a massive kinetic missile that few ships can ever hope out-run, transforming mid-way in its flight to deliver a massive amount of kinetic force with its lance. Though it may withstand an enormous amount of punishment, the 'Neketsu' lacks sufficient maneuvering systems for its speed & its dedication to its purpose is such that it has little else to offer. Still, the 'Neketsu' is Fortune's wild card & it's brave (Actually very hot-headed) pilots are more than willing to risk it all to punch a very nasty hole in the side of the enemy's hull.

Heh, the fourth ship I made in the fleet, I think this one turned out to be the best mech of all. I had to plan alot in the THRUSTING motions of the special attack as well as the shotgun-tonfa system but I think it came out alright. Two versions exist; red & blue. Functionally they are identical (unless I forgot something) but the reason is because while the Red looked cooler, I was reserving the color scheme for a secret mech. Still I guess the point's moot now with the new ship-wright parts..

Bio:
The 'Oda' is a secret NACS constructed by the Fifth Pillar under orders of Supreme General Codius Maxilus. Designed for maximum firepower over inconceivable long ranges, the 'Oda' houses the largest form of space-borne artillery known to pig-kind. Typically requiring massive amount of assembly ships and reserved for a UP annihilation mandate, the tripled-barreled Plotarian Insurgent Gun is a fearsome artillery mounted on the bow of the ship. Scratch that, intel say it now has another one at the stern. So, make that TWO of the galaxy's largest artillery are mounted on this monstrosity.
Analysis has shown that aside from the main-guns, the ship also possess a high energy force field maintained by one of the sub-ships. Although it is capable of instantly distinguishing any known projectiles, a small enough ship could sneak in through the force field and get a clean shot at the ship. (Not that it matters anyway since its so huge)
The only other information we have is based on heresay but one disturbing account comes from the survivor of the Antalius Pirate raid where a prototype 'Oda' was deployed for test firings. The few gabbles iof transmission we receive are these:
"...It stopped firing.......Antalius IV....where.....Oh god, IV is gone....left asteroid field... Wait, is it charging at us?...It...survive, it'be torn to shreds!..... WHAT IN..... Battleship transforming!....FIRE THE F**H OUTTA OF IT...*panicked screaming*...Deflecting projectile!?.... Blade.... Closed, oh great one above please save us.. *Transmission ends*"

I was giggling like a maniac when I finished this. The second ship I made in the fleet, I felt really accomplished after this first one which prompted me into making this. Well, its pretty good but there were alot of prices to pay which prompted the less than finished version you see before you. The biggest problem is that I hit the ceiling in terms of data so I couldn't really make bigger legs or a more refined katana. The sub-ships were also a last minute fix-it as I ran out spaces to hide the arms. Finally, the ship was literally full to the brim so I could only have 1 main weapons & that's it. I'm currently trying to find a way to cause damage when it swings its katana but so far no luck. Ah well, at least it can still hop-about with its artillery jump-packs.

Surprisingly, most 'Takeru' pilots are sows. Woah don't get me wrong here; I meant that most other male pigs just ain't smart enough to support the military on their own but females on the front-lines are rare. Not that it matters anyway with the heavy amount of firepower it bears. Accurate & deadly, when the 'Takeru' unleashes its full fury of missiles, it is as beautiful and deadly as an sheding of the Tortia Sakuras.
Fun fact:
Most 'Takeru' pilots are in a relationship with the 'Neketsu' pilots. Probably because everyone needs an idiot to wack sometimes.

Boobs. That's right, I think I made the first mech in BSF with boobs. On a more serious note; making my last mech was a frickin nightmare. That's why the vehicle form is so ugly, I inverted the order of ship-mech design because using blocky sprites to resemble the female form is so hard to accomplish. On hindsight, it may be better that I spent more time buried in porn stashes than making sheeps

I am interested in seeing the transformations sequences.
They're kinda messy if you look hard. But I don't think that can be avoided since you have move/rotsections and the final humanoid shape to achieve.
You should keep refining these current ships. They are amazing as they currently are, but I wonder if you can improve them further.

Realism, seriously? It's a space ship game. Realism was thrown out the window a long time ago.

'Oda' is a massive code guzzler, you'll have to reduce your sandbox size to free up enough code to spawn it.3D1L<>k wrote:These are great!

I have successfully completed my SW-ing of one of my basic mechs! Soon, we shall rule the world with massive transforming juggernauts!
That is of course once I get around to doing it.
