Areze's Dry Dock

Archives for ships and fleets. 'nuff said. Most of the ships here are very very old and will not work in current versions of BSF or SM. You have been warned!

Areze's Dry Dock

Post by Areze »

So yeah. Same as Hobbes1098, the "virus" got me. Heh. So here is some of the crap I fiddle around with.

My favorite, the Segetsia.

The Aegia. My space station. Quite obviously immobile.

My battleship, the Thor.

My corvette, the Ghanom.

This is the Geisepi's equivelant to the Pentagon, with big lasers 'n shit. The Lorganstraum.

it's nice to see someone new who doesn't strech their objects like theirs no tomorrow. I sure do like 'em!
That thor is just so awesome!

My mouse hates the ship builder. It doesn't sit still and lags the day away, for me it's pretty much impossible to get anything symmetrical. I wish my better mouse wasn't FUBAR'd.Image

Shift+Mouse Keys allows for precision placement. Hotkey M mirrors the ship along its horizontal axis.

The Thor looks a little too thin to be a battleship. I love that corvette, it looks like a mini Hestia. The Segetsia is awesome as it looks like a bow & arrow.

I can't really fix it. The thing clones itself. I made a space station. Lemmie go get it up.

EDIT:

First post, I proudly present....

THE LORGANSTRAUM.

I tried to make it a bit like the other "hueg liek ecksbawks" ships.

Want hueg liek XBox (should be hueg liek PS3, it has greater dimensions)? Denser, more parts (130+), more firepower, custom weapons out the ass.

And make it look good. Of course.

I meant size wise, though  The one I got up there now is roughly the size of the Leviathan.

Density is more important than size, I've seen. A smaller supercapital (Horatio Nelson/Viscount Hood) can duel a larger supercap (Myrmidon) to a standstill due to density. (Nelson/Hood have roughly similar armaments densities to Myrmidon, but Myrmidon has far better defensive capabilities)

The St. Martin might be sorta what you are talking about.

Here's an older picture.
