At least one of those games (Minecraft) doesn't use DX. I believe I have run SpaceRoguelike on an XP machine some time ago, so it's not XP in particular that's unable to run SpaceRoguelike. However, the fact that Minecraft gives a 'Bad graphics card' error on startup tells me something. Does it say anything like 'could not find accelerated pixel format' or the like?

Oh fudge, looks like Intel sort of pulled the plug for this chipset, i.e. Intel isn't going to make any more updates.

Oh and the posting: you know there's a way to edit your posts, right?

minecraft error were about open gl,and btw,i glitched my computer so it could update to direct x 10 and guess what, the game started but there was an error pop up box in windows format (not a pop up of the game) t4elling me something that it couldnt find something (a kind of dx dll) and then the game closed.its a good hint there, ill show you the proof i have dx 10 on win xp (even if its only for vista) : http://imgur.com/hj7uewR

This is coming along nicely.
The new logic for ship part parenting is impressive.
Although I would like to see an ability to affix the camera's location and rotation to the ship, so you can keep track of left and right easier.

That has been suggested I think.

Socom:
As far as the chipset goes... I've decided I haven't got enough knowledge to fix this. Try posting your problem with DX on places like the Motherboard Forums, they'll know...
(Google it)

Cool game so far, i like how the star map seems to be randomly generated on each new game. :)

They are, actually. Keeps the game interesting.
Personally, I really like the music when you're on the star map. Quite space-like!
