New Version
v1.0.0.11
- Moved Invictus I and II weapons closer to the core
- Added treasure system
- Added proper ambush system (player and enemy roll off to determine if ambush occurs when entering unexplored star)
- Added pods that are discoverable when exploring. Destroy them to release juicy treasure!
- Tech point payout for killing enemy ships reduced drastically, now based on star level instead of section number

Well there is but it just ask me wether to send an error report or not, no log or something.
Edit: it might be the GM's problem with my computer when in Fullscreen.

Seems that after a while,with a decent ship and upgrades,your essentially unbeatable, especially with the Damage control command.
No matter how much enemy ships there are you usually steamroll them and move on to the next system.
rinse and repeat.

Mostly polishing and tweaking.

v1.0.0.12
- new explosion sounds from Cycerin
- Changed jump sound
- Changed pulse sounds
- New point beam sound from Cycerin
- Fixed music not continuing where it left off in the star map
- Change treasure stat amount calculation to be less crazy on high levels
- Damage control only repairs up to 50%
- Added a jump out effect, you actually see your ship jumping out now (no more silly message)

TH, can you please add a setting where you can turn off the planets and other background because it seems to make my pc lag.

TH, you just woke up some lurkers. The game is turning into something awesome rather quickly. I like it.

Hey, how can we add the stuff to our ships that isn't in the shipmaker? The heavy beamer and things like that.

And maybe instead of harassing him via PM, you could post whatever it is in the public forums. This constant harassing him to check his PMs makes you come across as a creep.

You can switch to windowed mode with Alt+Enter, a very common shortcut that switches many things between windowed and fullscreen mode. I'm not sure how someone could not know about it.

I just posted the pm thingy once (moved it, though, to a place he checks more often) because I wasn't sure if he checks pms. It was not intended as "harrasment", and I didn't expect it to come off as such. But that's irreleveant. If he chooses to reply to my pm, okay. If not, then no.

No, I'm referring to weapons that aren't in bsf but are in this game. As in, weapons th15 made, and are part of the game but aren't part of BSF and are thus unavailable in the shipmaker.

Which is what I said you were asking.

You can make ships in BSF's Shipmaker, that can be imported into this new game as enemy alien ships.

You want to know how to add guns that are in this game but not in base BSF, onto those ships. This is a fair question, and I'm not sure how to do it, so we'll need to wait on th15 for an answer.

Cryosleep misinterpreted what you were asking and thought you were talking about adding those new guns to your in-game player ship in the new game. (Which is done by finding the right technologies in alien pods and then changing your guns in the shipyard)

(And seriously, pestering th15 to check his PMs is just sad. I suppose you could come onto IRC to ask him your questions there, except whoops, no you can't, 'cause you managed to make everyone in there despise you and got yourself banned.)

... Okay, are you dense? This new game has some weapons which don't exist in BSF, like Sniper Pulse Guns and other such weapons. You can use BSF's shipmaker to make enemy ships for this game. He is wondering how he can put those weapons, which don't exist in shipmaker but DO EXIST IN THIS NEW GAME, onto the ships he is trying to make.
