Let me clear a few things up,
Ship prices NEVER depreciate (unless damaged), so it's probably wise to buy what you can at the moment.
A trade in will trade your ship to the respective merchant and you will have to pay the difference. All weapons and cargo on board will be lost in trade-ins.
You can actually command more than one ship.
Bounties don't always have reasons. That's a risk you take; however, you can guesstimate how hard it is by the payout.
You currently have 26,000 credits, with a trade-in of your ship, the sword class costs 30,000.
A commerce ship gets killed by an Arpol every time. I have no idea what you did Cryo. Also, clarify "profile archive"

Profile Archive is a detailed list of every known people e.g
Mike Clarent
John Huston
Jake Hunter
Ethan Kingston
and if selected shows a detailed info about him/her
kinda like the details of our beloved Captain Ishtan and what ship they have as a Space Farer
and i was only using Tactical style and never changed a single thing to it other than making it's Stripes blue
but then if a Commerce ship gets killed by an arpol everytime then i guess no choice then.

Let's do a delivery Job, jazn might give us some opportunities Considering the Fact it's Mioran Space and who knows we might Stumble up on our Miner Friend on a job

Just stay away from GORE space and you'll probably do fine. At best, they'll consider you a bunch of uncultured heathens in need of 'reeducation'. At worst they'll decide you're heretics that need to be wiped out.

It really depends on how bored their leader is.

Almost too Easy
Part A

Delivery contract accepted. You start doing the routine delivery to Jazn. Absolutely nothing happens on the way there. Like at all. You see something weird near the jump node in Arime.
What the....jpg

You find the specified station and address...with a postal box as its address. No human contact. Of course.
+1500 credits to your bankroll.
Jazn delivery.jpg
Jazn was a world renown for its private industries. While there is some questions as to who the manufactured ships go to, it's a great place to get a cheap, strong ship.

Having set your eyes on the Sword back in Meax but not being able to afford it, you decide to buy whatever better ship you can.
Jazn has a similar bulletin board system so you simply look at the sales.

The only things in your price range are an Ishoth An class vessel and a Cephean Liner.
You decide to buy the Ishoth on a trade-in, as a Liner is practically worthless for anything other than transport.
Spoiler!
Ishoth An
Hull: 100
Speed: 2
Cargo: 60
Weapon Mounts: 2 Battery, 2 Missile
Two Light Red Alternating repeaters come with the ship. Missile additions are at the expense of 10 cargo each. Weapons can be purchased at certain licensed stations.
-23,000 from your bankroll.
You hire the few excess crew members, one of them a retired military officials from the Mioran navy named Shere Attick. He could come in handy with military tactics.
-1000 credits.
You also need to come up with a name and (possibly) a paint job for your new vessel. The paint job costs 500 credits.

Kai Zulaine:It would be wise to first delegate all military operations to Attick. With an Ishoth, bounty hunter or defense contracts are now much easier. Pirates will also be less likely to attack you. The Ishoth an class also allows for a decent amount of modification, so if you find someone willing to do the job you can make your ship better. Independent worlds are more likely to have both weapons and modifications.

Wow. That station is like stuffed potato. must be quite active system. There aint much money left, so if weapon upgrades are needed, it should be balanced between cost and efficiency. Do the paint job, and name the ship... ehh... hmm... (<.< )... ( >.O) uuh... Box wolf! ... Or leave the naming for someone else than me..

The old military veteran sure should know how to handle few effin problems that march on your way, so he should definately have the red button. Once the ships is upgraded and done, there actually might not been that much reason to stay near the safe colonies, but instead go where the money flows.

Either Pheliaris or Zepharus and the paint job is Reddish Brown because it looks nicer with the Glows.

I do this on my own time and it does take a great deal of motivation in order to post an update.
I do not plan on abandoning this though, even if things slow down a bit. Spring break is a time for the outdoors, not bsf.

Personal Messages:
Spoiler!
I will now be using the maps I made for WFTU. That makes most factions territories significantly larger and moves the SAR to a different location. As a compromise, I did the paint job but named it the "Inglorious Wanderer."
Part B

The paint job underway, you once again browse the station for intel. That digital bulletin board they have is a good start. You see an authorized bounty hunter contract with an unusually small payout. Interested, you seek out the contracter.
After a few minutes you find the contracter, a Mioran woman by the name of Siska Orrir in a military power suit. Presumably, she's a
Your target is a violent psychopath and rapist who was recently excommunicated from the Kebb Confederacy. They warned us about him, but we were too generous. You can only assume what happened next. He's currently hiding out around Arals. He's in a simple commerce ship, but we believe he's outfitted it with a green laser. We have 3,000 in it for you.
Accepted. Shouldn't be a problem.
Good. Contact me when you finish, we could use a talented captain like yourself. We would also authorize you to the military upgrades and arms depot at Mior.

You part ways, and head towards your new ship, which you and the crew have named the "Inglorious Wanderer."

2 missile hardpoints are available, but at the expense of 10 cargo apiece.

You take off. Heading towards Arals.
The first of the Wanderer.png
The crew isn't used to the controls for the new Ishoth, but you know that this is a major upgrade so you tell them to deal with it.
Using the tracking data Orrir gave you, you fly towards a small border station. As you approach, a commerce ship immediately departs and flies into a nearby debris field. Instantly ID'ing him as the target, you order your crew to charge weapons as your two gunners climb into their posts.
Universal sign of guilt.png
Despite the superior speed, he swerves to avoid an asteroid and you open fire.
Power is nice.png
He tries to take evasive action, but exposes himself once again to your superior firepower. Ultimately, it is too much for his pathetic little ship and you reduce it to another addition to the debris field.

You contact Orrir, and she transfers the credit to your account as well as allowing you to access the military's workshops.
+3000 credits
+5 reputation to Mior

Kai Zulaine: A browse at the workshop in Mior could be of some value. After that, we may want to take head off towards other factions or into the Delphinus sector. Just be sure to stay clear of the GORE and SAR. What are your orders?

( o. O)o Is there anything to salvage from the destroyed ship? Might be worth checking. Then workshop, maybe some missile upgrade to the ship - one or two batteries depending on cost. The new ships definately is fine, but once leaving immidiet proximity of Mioran space, im sure pirate activity will increase. Will also help with possible future bounty hunting missions.
