Calvin, mind to share the ini (not the sprites, just the ini) you used for those ships? Because the ini in the shipmaker repack doesn't contain all of them.

...make your own? It looks like he used a mixture of Shiny, DST, HM, and maybe some Prosectionax. My ini is pretty much just the legal sprites for the "limited realism" entry in BP5.

I've been playing around with some of these ships, and I must say that those Corsairs are nice little warships. Yep, definitely "capable of matching the performance of some dedicated military craft". The A type can even destroy Novian Particulas (Although that is probably because Particulas are good as swarm ships and generally uselss individually against any small fast craft. Particulas smash large stuff, but small stuff gves them a headache)

I have 2 ready. I've made them a while ago, actually. I'll post them soon.

Also, Doogie said he'll post some ships and stations if he still has them.

I would totally do that right now, but strangely enough, it seems like my screenshot function is broken. Whenever I hit f9 the whole screen immediately becomes black and taking a picture is impossible. I could use other methods, but as of now it's way too much work to do otherwise.

Renis M1
Image
HP : 60
Speed : 3.50
Turning : 1
Acceleration : 0.20
Equipment :
-1 AE Standard Mining Laser

The original variant of the AE Renis line of mining ships, it is cheap and easy to manufacture. It is also easy to operate individually, making it popular between freelance miners.

Renis M2
Image
HP : 125
Speed : 3
Turning : 1
Acceleration : 0.10
Equipment :
-1 AE Standard Mining Laser
-1 Tiny Red Laser Cannons

A heavier version of the Renis, featuring a slight heavier armor, an additional wing armor, and a laser cannon, it is useful for mining in dense asteroid fields and dangerous areas.

Renis MP

HP : 200
Speed : 3.25
Turning : 1
Acceleration : 0.20
Equipment :
-1 Light Red Laser Cannon
-1 Light Missile Launcher

The Renis is converted into a light craft capable of patrol and engaging small battles. Based on the M2 variant, it features even thicker armor, a more powerful engine, and a missile launcher instead of a mining laser. Because of its capabilities, it is popular among bounty hunters and small private military contractors.

(Renis are available in a variety of colors.)

These actually don't look bad, but they lack
a) Colours
b) Finishing touches - details, glows and doodads

I also keep reading the title as "penis"

The internet has ruined your mind doogie :)
The renis is fine with the balance and like lukas said, it lacks color and some finishing touches.

The colour on the Brigand-D's engines is wrong. Those flames shouldn't be blue.

EIT: Also, Renis has teamcolours.

Mako Fast Destroyer

Size: 87.28
Hull: 225
Speed: 2.90
Turning: 1.15
Accel: 0.10
AI: Flanking
Armament:
2x Twin Light Yellow Laser
2x Light Yellow Beam
1x Heavy LD Yellow Beam

Anaheim Electronics offers a high-performance solution for piracy in the form of the Mako-class. Fast, well-armed and capable in close-range brawls, the Mako's usefulness in piracy interdiction and raiding has made it highly sought after by minor powers and wealthy pirates alike - if they can afford the hefty price tag.

Hey, Calv, the Brigand-D has blue engine exhaust - judging by the glows, you probably didn't want blue flames, so I suppose it's not intentional. Just letting you know.
