Miora Colonies

Miora Colonies

General info
Spoiler!
The Miora colonies are the name given to the empire controlled by the planet Mior. Unlike many other civilizations, Mior has suffered no drastic setbacks or ever had to move planets. Mior took to space early, allowing it to gain and control other planets quickly. Several revolutions and coup's later, they emerged as powerful empire. Recently, their governing council has enjoyed wild popularity and, as a result, an economic boom.
Mior's government is set up as a council of elected officials, all of whom usually come from a religious order, to rule and debate on issues and other crap government needs to do. The council is made up of 3 members from each Mioran planet.
Mioran battle tactics deal only in extremes; there is full on assault or no conflict. All attacks are performed using armadas of all types of ships. Warshjps are constantly in production, regardless of whether they are at war. Very rarely will Mior call on light attacks or raiding parties, rather, they would hire privateers to do the job. Mioran ships are elite and expensive, and are an absolute nightmare. Mior does not issue standard weapons, instead, each gun is customized specifically for the ship it is placed on to improve efficiency and maximize damage.
Physiology
Spoiler!
Miorans have a very similar appearance to Terrans, although it is mostly appearance, as their internal composition is quite different. On average, Miorans tend to be 3 inches shorter and thinly muscular (it is to be noted that the Mioran "anti-laziness" culture could be the cause of their muscular nature). Most notably, however, is their elongated canines. Mioran blood is orange when oxidized.
Re-balanced ships so far, but not gonna bother with new screenshots.

Missile destroyer. Not as effective in combat, but it can also carry troop squadrons.
Minaret class

Backbone of Mioran fleet. A generic light cruiser/super heavy destroyer
Gargoyle class
Gargoyle class
Slow and tough. The Gargoyle has a long range but very little accuracy, but it's missile racks compensate.
Arasaw class
Arasaw class
The strongest of the strong. The Arasaw is almost perfectly on par with the SAR's Maelstrom, winning by only a measly PD turret.
Ossuary class

Weak in combat but the absolute best in electronic warfare. Can hide closer to the corona of stars and does not appear on all but the most advanced radars.

Personal notes: I nerfed these guys, but I still left them as the strong simply because I want my faction to have the elite but super-expensive ships with the smallest military. Also, the SAR must buuuuuuurrrrnnn.
Rebalanced.zip
All the ships in this post, I think.
Don't you dare balance your ships against these.

Yes, much better balance. Haven't run really detailed tests though.
