They're a bunch of half-complete WIPs and rejected concepts that would otherwise never have seen daylight.

And I still think the new dual lasers seem flat.


And those "rejected concepts" are pretty nice. Especially the Aurora. Are you sure you don't want to include them in the OP? At least the Aurora?

Maybe flat was the wrong term to use. The older twin LL sprite always felt kinda odd to me, what with being a wierdly-shaded box.
Nah, they're not going in the OP since they're not really complete. Some intrude heavily on the niches that the other ships have, so they're redundant. IIRC DD00 was originally going to be the mainline destroyer when I was still putting the faction together, but got replaced by the Whirlwind.
They may show up in lore as older garrison models though.

The minelayer screenshot in the OP doesn't display a minelayer and it still says the Stormhammer has 2500 health.

I heard the Tempest ships "underperfored" agains heavy warships. Good thing you have the Tempest-X.

It's mainly cosmetic stuff, like the broken mirroring on some missile launchers and the laser positioning on the Lightning.
Flareguns are still there because I'm too lazy to remove them.

fixed it's turret, but there's a few other things that need to be changed, it's hit points need to be a bit higher and it needs thrusters. i know it was just a experimental ship, but i had a little bit of spare time and fixed it's main problem for ya ;D

The reason why it's so lacking is because it's not finished and lacks a suitable niche with the rest of the fleet. It's just a bare-bones hull to see how it would look.

I see two problems with your ships:

1. The ECM really needs a nerf. I suggest decreasing the radius.

2. Also, the flareguns are useless.

Lore-wise, ECM arrays would be nullified by electronic warfare ships.
And flareguns are still sexy.
