 Post subject: cluster missiles

ive seen a few ships using cluster explosives weapons, mainly cluster missiles and cluster mines. how do i make it so a projectile splits into several smaller projectiles?

is that a new version of shipmaker or something? i appear to be missing several things such as critical object module things, these MIRV missiles, and fighter bays. i DO have ship deployers, but i think that's something different. do i have an outdated version of the game and/ or shipmaker?

It's an unofficial release. A mod. You likely do have the latest version, but your version is probably vanilla.

Go to the 'general discussion' forum and download the fighterbay release from its thread. You should have 2 new launchers. Simply put them in your BSF folder and you're good to go!

got it, thanks. weird thing is, i have a new version of BSF with a ton of custom sprites and the 2 launchers (including the modified one that makes only missiles interceptable and is MIRV and critical object compatible), but i think my version of shipmaker and the shipmaker only is out of date. it lacks that stuff altogether. still, at least now i think i know the problem.

You need to actually go through the shipmakermirv (and later) updates icon, as the regular shipmaker icon will take you only to regular shipmaker.

ye, i noticed. thanks. i now have a total of 10 different shipmaker and game launchers.

I'm guessing he's got a few older BSF versions with executables to match. Removing those is probably a very, very good idea.
