Getting started with shiny textures...

Post by Kendom »

KK... I just posted a faction on normal textures(It was well recieved(PS:I'm sarcastic!)) and now i'd like to move on the shiny ones, but I face a problem when i got more than 1000 parts to choose from, And ships end up looking bad.

Is there any advise I can use to organize parts in sections without give texture problems?

Like-Alien styled in one, and regular In other.

I'm ok with the shields, but I'm having trouble finding doodads.
Kk my sprite folder is a mess...
I usually don't use more than 30 different sections in a single ship, I just want an advise to help organize my sprite folder without, giving texture problems to other users. Thanks...

Go under tools and use the save sprites ini. function. That makes a preset of whatever sections you have in your palette and allows you to load it later.

Don't forget about the "Group Arrange" option in the "tools" tab either.
