I was wondering if Battleships forever has a way to use Melee as a form of collision based attacks.
Is there way to use something like a fist or sword to attack and damage your opponent?
Melee attacks, is that really possible?

Weapons with really short range tend to work. Beamers, mostly.

I've seen people use a trigger and a shortish-range pulse beam to make a lightsaber of sorts. In case it isn't clear, the beam is the blade.

It can be done, but it's really wonky, especially if you do something like putting a sword (short range laser) attached to a moving arm. The beam doesn't like it when the sections its attached to are moving, and sometimes it'll just pass right through sections without doing any damage.
