Open shipmaker, open the 'tools' tab, click on 'group arrange'. Drag and drop the sprites you want down their folder into the 4 groups and there you go. Oh then press Esc to get out of it and open tools tab again and click 'Save ini file'.

Look for something called group arrange. Took 20 seconds to find, by the way, searching in the FAQ for "ini".

Power, Rugdumphs method is the only other option, or you could go and edit the ini with notepad, which takes just as long.

ADM: editing a .ini in notepad will take at least 10 times as long, that is IF you've memorized all the sprite names. Which you haven't.
