lately I've tried to change my avatar but I fail. I've tried lots of possibilities. these are the error messages:

"The avatar filetype must be. Jpg,. Gif or. Png"
or
"the avatar must be 6 kb at most" or something.

this is the avatar I want to:

For the second one, right click the image and chose the option "Save as" or "Save Image As". Rename to "whatever.jpg, then either upload here, or use a 3rd party image hoster.

I can't really see why the first image wouldn't work, it says its a jpeg which should be accepted by the site.

Copy the link and paste it into the "Link to Off-site" field.

i try all, it don't work... im using an old I-Explorer, that are the cause?

Probably not, but you'll want to switch to Firefox, Chrome, or Opera for other very important reasons.
