Where be the encounters

Post by Jinxicus »

I have spent a little time trolling around these forums and I have noticed that allot of the dl links are dead or non existent. So who can tell me where I might find some great encounters?

And is there anything out there you would consider a must have for an upstart builder? As far as sprites resources and forum topics that might be a little off the beaten path..

Thanks a million,

That's most of the "core" sprites, witha a bonus .ini file included. There are others, but they're near the top of the Custom Content sub-forum.

As for the encounters, now one really uses them. It's just a fancified wave generator.
A gay as fuck girl and loving it.

Yeah, no one makes encounters anymore.

Also, you lurked. You didn't troll. Trolling gets you banned.
It's not my fault I can't take your post seriously.

So what do people use the game for these days? An interactive art tool?

Until th15 develops multiplayer for BSF, we'll be sticking to aesthetics .

I haven't seen any great encounters for the newer versions, but if you happen to have BSF 0.88 laying around somewhere, I'd recommend trying out Normandy's Meteor Attack encounter. Personally I'd say that it was the most fun encounter out of the entire lot, at least the ones that were made public...

Already been said, but check out all of the threads in the custom content section. All sorts of neat sections, weapons, and other gadgets there. If you're into making your own sprites, also check Kaelis' Shipwrightizator program if you want to convert something into that style.
