Quick question...

Post by Killerhurtz »

I am unsure if this is the right section for it, if it is not feel free to move it.

What I am wondering is this: how exactly do you make an animated .gif?

Thanks in advance.

the longest, but simplest way is to grab MSGIFAnimator
Its microsoft crap and free to grab.
then just take each frame as a image and save a gif
and string them together in that.

there are better ways, but i don't use gifs often enough to know them lol.

GIMP can make a .gif for you. Load up the first image, then load the rest as "Open as Layers", set the Mode > Index, hit convert, and save as a .gif.

Does that work with Photoshop too or is it exclusive to GIMP?
