Targeting question

Post by nemovc »

Minimum and maximum target size- does it work? I've looked around on the forum and tried it a bit in the sandbox, so far my answer is a resounding FAIL but perhaps I'm just doing it wrong? The size it compares against is listed at the bottem of the attributes in the "add" pane, right?

Incidentally, is there anyway to arbitarily change this size?
the dice gods don't seem to be favouring me today... possibly because i was playing BG not BFS

No I don't think it works. I tried messing around with it to stop my battleships pwning fighters with their main guns but nothing happened.

Size is determined by the core's position relative to the external dimensions of the ship. A "centered" core will yield the smallest possible size. It's not exactly arbitrary, but if you move the core back or forth along the ship then you can alter the size.
