Custom turret sprite help

I have a question. I am attempting to get a sprite-section turret - Panzerfaust's WWII turret - to turn with a Repeating Artillery as it tracks its' targets. But, it doesn't let me use the weapon's lock on as a trigger to start it turning with it. Can someone help?

Are you selecting the the custom section, and THEN right-clicking the repeating artillery weapon to bring up the 'Set Driver' option?


Please clarify.
Realism, seriously? It's a space ship game. Realism was thrown out the window a long time ago.

He is using the triggers to try to do this. Instead select the section you wish to have turn and then right click the weapon and select > Set Driver.
Then the Section and all its children will rotate around the driver to aim in the same direction the driver aims.
